Guys, so I'm scared again. Have been all series.

Should I stay home alone with you clowns? Or go to a bar again? What do you think will have a greater positive effect on the game?

Also, Babsocks or Joe Bowen socks?

- gravyface

Either choice I'd recommend drinking.

Why the frank is Marleau playing so much? Double-shift Matthews, Marner, or Tavares with Moore/Nylander.

Agreed.
But babs.

Agreed.
I think dubas extends an olive branch first, fire the asst coaches, have a chance to improve the pk.

- Fakepartofme

I think I mentioned that this is what I thought as well when the Leafs were sucking it up in March.

It's the classic cop-out though. I don't recall a team ever getting better because some secondary coaching staff was shuffled around.

The only things that I think will yield different results are:

- Youngsters get significantly better
- Dubas finds NHL players that fit into the way Babcock wants the system to work
- Fire Babcock

We're 0-2 when I'm at the bar.

0-1 listening on the radio.

1-0 at a friend's place.

2-0 when I've been home.

Does that change anything for anyone?

Looks like from a quote posted earlier that he might play even more tonight. I don’t like that for you all, but like the saying goes, anything can happen on game 7

I watch them at my place with a few buddies sipping on a copious amount of cold ones. Going to wear what I wore during game 1 lol. Leaf hat, A Darryl Sittler shirt I got from a 24 of Canadian, a Leaf hoodie and my Matthews Jersey over top. Hopefully all goes well!

No.

But those odds: 2-0 when I'm at home. 0-2 at the bar. Can I chance it?

3 years ago, people in here were euphoric with Babcock joining the Leafs.
now all of a sudden, he's bad coach and should be replaced by douchebag Keefe??
make up your mind guys - Babcock is not the problem.

I'm reconsidering my life choices at this point. Maybe just play sports only, no more spectating.

I’ve made a concerted effort to not take this series too seriously. It worked in games 1-5 and I totally lost all hope during game 6.

Coaches are never the problem. They're simply meant to put the team in the best position to win with regard to the talent they have on the roster.

Babcock has shown this series he is either not prepared to, or capable of, doing this.
