Valie
Lehner
And Bishop
All three deserving of nod.
Keumper beat out valie by a few hundredths of point in GAA and valiesky and him were tied in save percentage. Lehner and Bishop were 1 and 2 in both categories.... not including Bennington, due to smaller game sample ( 32games).
Wins were very close, but left it out because team has alot to do with that.
He was probably 4th overall. Very close. He wasn't robbed.
Just stop Tanner
Then again, you are just trolling, and i fell for it again |

It's unclear whether some of the NHL's award voters are aware of the existence of the Arizona Coyotes.
Yeah whoever is voting on these awards is totally useless and obviously doesn't know anything about the Coyotes. Says the guy who forgot to include Schmaltz in next years projected lineup a few weeks after proclaiming that he was signed to an amazing contract and had the potential to be a 90-point player. |

How good your team is has absolutely no effect on your save percentage UNLESS shot quality matters. If shot quality matters, then Corsi is a useless stat because it treats all shots as equal.
You can't have it both ways. |

Maybe if Kuemper robbed more shots, he wouldn't have been robbed of the nomination |

So I'm "Trolling" because I think that the goalie who played for the Coyotes, who were not considered a playoff team even before they were the #1 most injured team in hockey, is more deserving of a nomination for the goalie who played for the NHL's #1 team and put up pretty much the same or slightly worse stats?
I think you've single handedly ruined "trolling" and the phrase (already annoying) "just stop."

I got to see Kuemper live several times, and the guy was just dope most of the year. He really deserves huge kudos, especially since he had no Greiss or Domingue or Khoudobin to give him an occasional breather. That Arizona was in the hunt at the end was possible o n l y because of Kuemper. |

They were #3 in man-games lost to injury - Not #1. And again, 164 of those were to Hossa nad Bolland.
So, take your own advice and "Just Stop" |

But in the purely objective stat of value of man games lost (sarcasm) they were clearly #1. |

The numbers do not take account into account either Hossa or Bolland, and they were NUMBER ONE IN TERMS OF VALUE.
I have stated that several hundred times. |

The problem with Tanner's value of games lost is that this is still pretty subjective. So Jason Demers gets hurt and he acts like this is equivalent to losing a 1D. Chychrun gets hurt and the team plays better without him, but this is still regarded as a big loss. Dvorák gets hurt allowing Garland to get more time but again this considered a major loss. Raanta gets hurt and Kuemper wins the Vezina (if smart people were voting) but again a major loss.
At the end of the day, the Coyotes got 70+ games out of most of their top players. Which is not a disaster. OEL, Goligoski, Hjalmarsson missed a combined 7 games. Osterle played 70+. Keller, Stepan, Galchenyuk, Hinostroza, Panik, Fischer all played 70+ games. That's most of their key forwards.
Look around. Many teams had much worse to overcome. |

Value how? I've only ever seen contract amount, higher the contract, higher the "value", but then, I don't look for it very often. |
