To be fair, this Leafs team has only lost to the Bruins once. I know historically it's bad but we're all getting down on a group of kids for past failures which they had nothing to do with, when in fact they took a better team to 7 games last year and did it again this year. And still may win.

I'm not going to compare this team to the 2013 Leafs team, it's completely different.

Last year, we were down 3-1 in the series and tied it up and had the lead in the 3rd period.

This years' team we were up 3-2 and wasted a chance to win it at home.

The hope is that they learned from last year. With the additions of Tavares and Muzzin, and with all the kids getting another year of experience. I think we can win..

I know it's not the fanciest stat, but we've been the best team when it comes to holding onto the lead in the 3rd period. Which wasn't the case last year.
Also, 5 on 5 play, Tavares has held Bergeron to 1 assist in 6 games.

its close, they had pretty high expectations but were terrible the down the stretch and it doesnt look easily fixable, add onto that they have to sign Laine, Connor, Trouba and have 7 more UFAs to replace, and have 3 draft picks in this draft
