Well I was wrong when I said whoever wins game 5 will win game 6.
I was right however when I said Matthews will be the biggest contributor for the Leafs this series when I did that poll before the series.
Lastly, if they do lose or even if they win, next season Dubas or Shannahan have to fire both Leaf assistant coaches or the coach If need be and bring up Keefe to fill one of those roles, force it upon Babcock because these specialty teams need changes and a fresh look. |

They'll (Dubas/Shanahan) probably give Babcock one more year. Assistants will go though. Unless they make a deep run and a miraculous turnaround happens for the special teams the rest of the playoffs. There is simply no excuse for the PK to be at 60%. |

Ha ha that Islanders fans breakup thing is hilariballs.
Good for them having their year but the fans denying that the loss of Tavares is brutal are just sad to listen to. |

I'd like to see them break up the loaded PP1 and go with two more balanced units. I feel like there's not enough touches to go around for all the talent on PP1.
Maybe put AM and Willy on one, JT and Marner on another. Run everything through AM on one.
The stacked PP1 got me hard when they first tried it, but it's not equal to the sum of its parts so maybe they should try this other approach. Right now PP1 is wasting talent and PP2 is a big drop off on the back end of power plays.

I wonder how much money this series is worth to a leaf fan when it comes to betting.
Would it be worth putting say $100 on Boston? If Boston wins you make $220. Is that enough to make you say ah well they lost but at least I made $220.
Or what is the amount of money you wouldn’t care about losing that your happy the leafs come out on top. |

I agree 100 percent with this. I hate the pp as is. If they don’t get control or score in the first 45 seconds they switch to the 2nd pp unit. That unit has been awful. They need 2 good units going. |

Islanders fans are so funny. One decent year and JT made the wrong decision and he's bad lol.
His decision was also about long term as well. Plus they got to play Pittsburgh instead of Boston in the first round. Boston probably would have swept them

Looks in to me. Need to see another camera angle, though.
EDIT: That's a goal. Ref got it wrong.
EDIT-EDIT: "Call on the ice is confirmed, no goal." More like confirmed the refs made a terrible call. |

I agree. They've been consistently awful at their jobs all season long.
NHL needs to step up once and for all and hold them accountable. |

Bergeron is owning Hyman at the dot and it has directly resulted in 4 goals against this series including the 2 PP goals last game. If Tavares wins even one of those draws we may be celebrating a 2nd round already. You gotta change it up if it's not working. Tavares should be taking defensive zone face offs on the PK.
Hyman 28% vs Bergeron

They should be held accountable like players are....subjected to fines and suspensions and reviews on bad calls

I think its time for Willy be tried out no the PK, his on-ice determination and attention to detail will make him a great penalty killer.
Don't guys who kill penalties have like 7-8 goals a season?
I would seem like a perfect fi |
