I was thinking McLeod and a 2nd to try and grab caulfield - shvingter88

I think Caufield has played his way out of reach of us moving back into the mid/late 1st to get him, he's almost guaranteed to go top 10 now - vlongo4419
I know that’s what I’m worried about |

Depends where teams are valuing him, I think his stock has gone up a lot. I really wouldn’t be mad if they made drastic moves to land him. |

shoot. Seney, McLeod, Santini, Bratt, Wood, Zacha, the picks.. all expendable if it lands us a top 6 winger with potential to be more. Ray has options. |

been trying to imagine for 3 years now. I agree about Zacha-Zajac-Coleman. I'm down for that. I think they'll try him next to Hughes too. I just want Zacha to realize his abilities and play with confidence, skate, handle, pass, shoot.. hockey.. My vision of him is an Elias/Zubrus hybrid lol. .. which would be a darn good player if we remember Zubrus in his prime. - MartysBetter88
Zubrus in his prime was a monster on the boards. Great Devil but never seemed to produce much points. |

Exactly, I say go big this year in the draft. |

I think Zacha needs to see those Dr. that help people reach their potential via thinking differently. He has the skill, his passing and vision are great, wicked wrister. He needs to figure out how to change his game to unleash more of that and not get pigeon holed as a PKiller. |

He was a solid 40-50 point guy inches prime. I think at this point we'd be glad to get that out of Zacha. Fortunately it looks like 1-3 C is covered for at least two seasons with Nico, Hughes, Zajac. A move to the wing could be beneficial to Zachas offensive numbers. If not I guess we got a decent 3C and PK player at 6th overall. Not ideal, but at least he can play at the NHL level. |

I can be pessimistic about Zacha but that move he pulled on Ekblad shows he can be so much more. |

I guess the question is if Bratt or Zacha could develop into a better player than this Cauliflower guy or whatever. Might wana hold onto Bratt and Zacha. Couldn't we just give all our picks after 1st to move up? lol |

Shoot, this Caufield is another midget. 5'7? even St. Louis was 5'8.. Theo Fleury was 5'6... Gionta 5'7. I just think a small Hughes with a smaller Caufield could have a tough time against playoff-level defenses. |

The chemistry they have is insane. If nothing else, it would help Hughes develop |

Cole Caufield has 107 goals in 92 combined games this year. Just set a singel tournament recrod for Americans with 11 goals.
He's now got more career goals at the u18's then....
Matthews
Keller
Laine
Tarasenko
Kovalchuk
Malkin
Gaborik
F. Forsberg
Kuznetsov
Kucherov
Nylander
Mcdavid
Now some of those guys only played 1 year at the u18's. But in terms of goals per game. Caufield is right there with all of them. Better in some cases. |

Points might I have been a bad way to put it. I meant I always expected him to score more. Kinda like Miles Wood this year. |

Would New Jersey consider the following trade?
To NJ: Jacob Trouba
To WPG: Pavel Zacha, Sami Vantanen |

There's something here. Is Trouba a cancer like some people were saying? (Not a jab, genuinely don't know) |

With the lack of quality UFA defensemen out there, he is going to get paid bigly by someone |
