The PK is a bigger problem than the PP. They're getting killed out there man down. Still getting chances man up. - floater_willy
Still hoping Dubas sees the issue and corrects it promptly in the off season.
Is it the same guys (frank)ing the dog on the PK every time or does everyone share blame? |

Pull the goalie without possession then put Marleau out AGAIN in a critical time. (frank) Babcock - markmark
I didn't get that whole thing... I thought that they had tilted the ice pretty nicely... 5v5... and they had some momentum... then they make a sloppy change and pull the goalie at the same time...
that's on Babcock...
but that's okay... 'cause CBC coverage will blame Rielly for being impatient... obviously that was the deciding factor in the game.
or that Freddie wasn't good enough
now it pains me to say this... a lot actually, but I would sit Gardiner in the 7th game, not because he was bad, he'd trying but the guy is clearly hindered by the back injury.
dress Holl or Ozighanov - they won't get the pressure anyway ...
or Rosen if you want a faster guy

Something that’s gotten me... after every win they mention the Leafs having a light or easy going practice. And then they lose.
I doubt they’re having the easy going practices after losses.
Maybe don’t let them get their guard down. Time to rest between rounds. |

That'd be one of the worst coaching decisions ever made.
Rosen was a giveaway machine at the end of the season against bad teams. Who knows the mistakes he'd make as a rookie thrown into a game 7.
Gardiner is playing hurt and he doesn't kill penalties. Gardiner isn't the only issue this team has. - JohnFergusonJr
No he isn't. There's a number of issues that I listed earlier. Gardiner is just the one player I know for a fact that cannot be trusted in an elimination game. I'd be happy to go 5 D as well. |

If the leafs play game 7 like they did the 3rd period they will win - Upstate_isles
That's been the problem all year, they find it very hard to put a full game together.

Leafs are screwed if Babcock doesn’t wise the (frank) up. He hasn’t made any adjustments and continues to roll ice time out for guys playing like dog poop as if this is house league. His stubbornness is (frank)ing this team as much as they are fucjing themselves |

soft as slime - daeth
yep 🤦♂️
i hate to say that i told you so but this team is not built for playoff competition 🤦♂️
i could reiterate what i have been saying for the better part of a decade but this team is not built for a real stanley cup run and haven’t been since the salary cap era began 🤦♂️
soft as slime skilled shrinking violet supporting players to our true core who want to play house, fake injuries and hold out for more money 🤦♂️
smaller markets HAVE to have good management and coaching to become relevant if you discount az and fla
we in laff nation wet our beak with playoff hockey for a few years and no problems 🤦♂️
We’ll keep buying season tickets and merch until buston glassthews is gone to glendale and we’re hoping for the first pick again 🤦♂️
greedy willi will have long proven himself a bust and be playing in the elite league where there’s little pressure or physicality 🤦♂️
don’t blame him, dubass could have traded him at the deadline, along with garbegener, for another real dman who doesn’t want to play house and some top 6 heavy playoff performers 🤦♂️
what a (frank)ing joke 🤦♂️
edit: nice alliteration 👍

I really don't think that'd be advisable. Gards is bad, but still miles better than those guys. |

There is nobody else the Leafs currently have that could do a better job.
They got Muzzin to play defensive situations.
It's either Gardiner or a bunch of unreliable rookies.
Go with the guy who at least has motivation for redemption and just play him in the right situations. |
