He played half and Rittich played half (40 and 42)

Combine their save percentages and it's worse than the Sabres, and they managed to be the top seed in the west

Goaltending is not a problem worth sinking huge assets into imo

- jcragcrumple

May not be an issue with the Flames but it is with this crap team. They need to invest on a starter.

Scandella, Hunwick, Sobotka, Sheary all come off the books the year after. Hopefully we can move a body or two this year. $$$$ will not be a issue.

I've heard this argument many places, but money is certainly a concern this year, unless Bogo or Okposo is moved.

If Skinner isn't re-resigned, then money isn't an issue, but the product on the ice will be

They should have made additional acquisitions beyond Montour.

What made me alittle annoyed was the struggling we went through did absolutely nothing then when it’s all over he calls up players the last 10 games

Pittsburgh is a hot mess outside of Crosby and Malkin

Tampa is going to lose many pieces this offseason

Toronto is going to have to give up a few bodies

Bergeron, Krejci, Chara, will all be another year older.

It will be interesting to see if Columbus can keep the band together if they go deep, if not there is another team potentially losing many pieces.

Ottawa, Detroit, Rangers will still be rebuilding.

Devils, Isles, Flyers, and Panthers are all wildcards.

Sabres have a crap ton of cap room and assets to move up the food chain and be competitive next season. 2021-2022 will be the year we really need to go for broke.

Patience is a virtue. Once Dahlin is fulfilling his potential I’m sure anyone would sign up to play on a team with him and Jack leading the way up front.

"The first known recording of this expression is in Piers Plowman, a narrative poem believed to have been written by William Langland between 1360 and 1387. It is similar to the Latin expression, maxima enim, patientia virtus (patience is the greatest virtue).

Around the same time or shortly after Piers Plowman, Chaucer wrote in The Canterbury Tales that "Patience is a high virtue... but virtue can hurt you."

From Mike McKenna a pro goalie who is best known for playing for almost every team in the league as a career AHler but meaningful nonetheless. These quotes were about Roope Hintz who is having a monster playoff for the Stars

"I've always felt winning is so important in the minors. Development is the key word, but that can't truly be achieved without habitually winning and learning what it takes to do so. And if you want to win...you need vets to support those blue chip kids. Takes a balanced attack."

"Roope was good for us in Cedar Park last season. He was GREAT in playoffs. It's exactly why your affiliate needs to be in playoffs. Those extra high-pressure games are invaluable. So many guys on our team kept improving as we went and got significant NHL time this season"

Botts needs to be looking at RNH or someone of that ilk. Young but with enough experience that can help us win now and in the long run.

Well said, but replace a fool’s game with procrastination. Coin it. It’s gold.

Yeah.

Just don't trade away, what was it, 17 assets, many of which would look good on this team right now.

Precisely. We actually have a foundation too to finally have some depth as well. When we traded for ROR and Kane we didn't have Mittelstadt, Olofsson, Smith, Thompson, Nylander waiting for NHL time.

I’d prefer 28 g and 49 assists over 16 goals and 16 assists and it’s really not even close.

I think you are underestimating what a strong running game and defense can do. Look at the bears last season. Keenum was the worst starting QB last year and we had the worst HC in football and we were still a few bounces from going 9-7. Flacco just has to be average and the Broncos will be a competitive team.
- Pegullaville

I think the Broncos start hot

3-1. You Beat raiders, jags and split with packers/bears

Flacco looks incredibly impressive
Elway is a getting huge Pat's on the back

Then:

Some young guy on a message board starts talking about drafting Flacco's replacement and how going 8-8 doesn't get you a franchise qb. Being a wild card team doesn't matter because, your not really a top contender.

So why bother with a 1 and done playoff loss
You could pick early and be ready in 2024

Season completely falls apart , you pick 7th. You pick 7 and it's an Allen type guy.

the only one I really was bummed about was compher...that one hurt, but it was said that the avs insisted upon him...and of the picks, colin white looks like he'll be a good one...roslovic does nothing for me

The Kansas City Star reports Tyreek Hill's three-year-old son was "recently removed from the custody of Hill and the boy’s mother."
Per the Star, it "isn’t clear when the boy was removed, or who he is staying with now." The Star reports Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, have been "working through a family court process called a 'child in need of care' case." Two separate investigations into child abuse at Hill's home were opened across nine days in March. The second incident involved the alleged breaking of Hill's son's arm. Hill reported for the start of Chiefs voluntary workouts this week, but this is looking like a situation that will involve a lengthy suspension, outright release or both.

Pominville 1000gp 700+ points. Been on a couple teams that made deep runs here and seen playoff time in minnesota. I think he garners respect.

Otherwise its nonexistent
