All i'm saying is the 10th pick in the draft this year won't have seasons ticket holders running out to renew.

With the draft being in VAN the team has an opportunity to hit a PR home run and create some excitement in the city.

Sadly I don't think management has the stones or skill set to pull something like that off.

What I care about is trading Horvat, Demko & OJ plus the 2020 1st for the 2019 1st overall pick. That will create excitement all the way to the playoffs and then anything can happen.

Tryamkin appears to have nhl game though. Otherwise i agree, but tree might have a little.

Just read it. Very interesting. Doesn't sound like they intend to trade up or down. Sounds like they are focused in on #10.

Hopefully, and im sure someone on staff, was at the US game too. Not surprised though, we should be happy with soderstrom, he’s ahead of the curve developmentally and has shown a lot of all-around game. Might end up being the best d in the draft. Plays in the SHL already which is no joke.

You really think that’s a no-brainer for Tampa?

Jordan Spence is basically Soderstrom but possibly 2+ rounds cheaper. Spence has an overall Tanev vibe (except he has functional wrist & slap shots). Cerebral, poised, reliable, hockey IQ+++. I’d much rather take a real player at 10. A guy like Rees at 40. Guys like Spence 71st & later.

Fair enough. Onesmallleap is a big time pom pom waver but he doesn’t really propose trading the young guys from what I’ve seen so I assume you included him due to that proposal the other day.

They also so thought TB was going to win the cup . Why would you ask a group of posters that have been known to be hugely wrong what they think?

Point was used against top lines in last year’s playoffs and was still a PPG.
