Totally against taking a goalie that early. Its a waste of a pick to me. Goalies can be found anywhere and given the Hawks' success at finding them, I would rather they use a 2nd on a skater.

Trent Miner would be a good mid-late round goalie selection.

I agree, need to find long term answer for Crawford (who ironically was a 2nd rd pick) I’m a fan of Sogaard if Spencer is gone. I don’t think he makes it past 2nd round, or I might look to roll the dice and trade the 2 4ths for an early 3rd and pick best of what’s left.

Is this serious? I don't want to hear what the Craps don't have. The Canes are without 3 very good good players themselves. Canes got scoreboard and (frank) the Capitals.

Should Winnipeg win tonight then the series is for them to win or loose it. St Louis is using a lot of young guys up front, their dmen depth not too good and Binnington has to save them. Disappointed Bouwmeester not as good as he was early in career. He was a nice good skating dman as a rookie.

Las Vegas probably the team coming out of Western Conference. I had figured Nashville might have enough more push to advance but they just seem not quite good enough. Sure enough Rhinne gets chased again. Although he could be stellar next game. Their big center Johanson (whom they traded Seth Jones for) has not been the scoring threat i thought he could become even now after a few years
