I have no problem with him going to NCAA. That's not a good reason for avoiding someone at #8 imo.

I also wonder if there are some former blue-chips that have gone sour that could be had for cheap. Maybe take low cost risks on high skilled guys like Robby Fabbri and Sonny Milano for picks.

I was hesitant on him to start due to some descriptions I had read, but after reading some more I'm not as hesitant. His injury troubles are noteworthy enough that I might be swayed toward Krebs.

I steer clear of a project like Broberg, personally. I appreciate his physical tools, but I'm not convinced that his decision-making issues are something easy to overcome. I could support Soderstrom, but I just think forward is a bigger need going forward.

I'm not sure Fabbri would cost too much. Maybe even a 3rd could get it done. He has not looked the same since he came back from those two knee injuries. And those injuries themselves are cause for serious concern.

Yep. For sure on the other two. I don’t know about Fabbri. Proper rehab over the summer would be what St. Louis would like to do and a full season to judge his talent. If the Blues falter and are out of serious playoff contention come next TDL and you guys aren’t, then you might be able to snag him.
