If we win, we played awsome
If we lose, the refs (frank)ed us

Am I doing this right?

- BestRapperAlive

I was reading through a Bruins fans blog yesterday ... not sure if it was here or on TSN or whatever...

the comment that almost cost me spitting out my lunch was:

"I really hope our guys(the Bruins) are afraid to throw a hit in Game 4 because of the refs"...

which was exactly what Jack Edwards spewed out at the end of Game 3....

so.. my take away from the entire thing was they really think/believe they were "jobbed" in Game 3 by the officials, crazy uncle DonC "really thinks they were jobbed in Game 3 - because the officials actually tried to call the rules, Kypreos thinks (well kinda thinks) that the Bruins were prevented from playing the game the way it was supposed to be played (not sure which century he's channelling) and Jack Edwards thinks (and spews and spews and spews) that the Bruins were "jobbed" in Game 3.

so my question is "were the Bruins Jobbed in Game 3"... that's some pretty compelling intellectual instances to argue with ...

nah... Bruins weren't jobbed.

Interesting. Did the "whites" after their victory announce that the colour red sucks, and the new flag should be blue and white?

Ok let's get serious:
This is a critical game. We don't want Boston going home with momentum tied 2-2. We don't want this thing going 7 games. Win tonight to take a stranglehold and put all the pressure on Boston. The boys better play with some urgency from the 1st shift!

If youre a leafs fan, youre more likely to villafy one particular player and demand he be traded than to blame the refs. Players go from hero to enemy number 1 from gane to game.

True, coaches too. Lose tonight and we'll all try to fire babcock. We tend to overreact

Really? I haven't heard anything from him since before the playoffs because we have our own idiot calling/ruining Leafs games.

The Bruins were jobbed because the refs called the game fairly? Makes sense.

I live in the states CT... and therefore force myself to listen to his spew occasionally...
and yes I know he's the worst commentator and one of the most blind homers...

but I almost prefer that over listening to Hughson and continually having to ask if he's actually calling the same game I'm watching.

"Leafs powerplay struggling, they're having trouble scoring - Matthews looks unmotivated .... then in subdued voice leafs score... Matthews"... "my goodness Bruins penalty killed looked great out there... until they didn't"

my wife was stunned, told after the 2nd period, while grabbing a nice cold one from the fridge - I'm done with Cherry and RonM. I've always supported them, made excuses when Cherry to far. But RonM wouldn't even engage in the "officiating was shyte" conversation, I now know that he's as big and egomaniac as DonC. RonM has always gone to ridiculous lengths to try and justify Ref bad performances - if you need evidence go back to the infamous Kerry Fraser garbage. RonM kept bringing that thing up for years but would never criticize Fraser - even when the pictures and videos clearly show he could see the play.

Then he doesn't engage on that topic himself after Game 2 AND he doesn't even try to reign DonC in on his ridiculous "don't whine to the refs commentary".. he just sits there. Zero journalistic integrity... report what happened, its Don's job to commentate.

They are both Canadian Icons, that will never change - good for them. I will never watch them again.

Oh for (frank) sakes Leafs have the least amount of PP opportunities the past two years, worst coach's challenge record and get the longest suspensions in the playoffs.

I really do not want to hear from rival fans they are getting screwed.

well - here they call me a Nutmegger....

if I lived in Mass... you know they would call me a M A S S H O L E...

I thought Nutmegger was nicer

and this way I can do what EVERYONE in the Northeast does... when the Yankees are winning they are Yankees fans. When Rangers are winning they are Rangers fans...

and no one is ever a Islanders fan.

but you get the point.

not sure, you could check with a Habs, Bruins or Flyers fan... they probably have more points of reference.
- BorjeFan4Ever

Cuz they've been in so many more playoff games?
