Shouldn't he also be blue Kool Aid though? The Isles don't have red in their jerseys...
- RickJames77

No.
Leafs need to win in 5 or 6.
I cant handle a game 7

- Fakepartofme
I was at last years and will be at this years if there is one. They are just brutal. I mean they're great, but when your team is in one it's tough to enjoy it

I hate to say it but red Kool Aid Guy from the Isles is okay and talks hockey so giving him aggro is offside imo.

trade nylander.
last chance tonight - he better show up and score 12 goals...

- MaximusAurelius

Or, to put it another way, don't trade Nylander.

was Columbus that good or Tampa that bad?

Tampa played like they did against MTL at the end of the season. They were not ready for the playoffs, they put it on cruise control 2 months ago and were never able to put in "playoffs mode"

- Symba.007

smae as last year. they played their best hockey before the all star break.

the thing is, they were so good, you'd think they'd beat most teams even on cruise control.

I won't lie theres a huge number of fans not over that and personally I think it's sad. Team is winning tavares is doing well in Toronto worked out for everyone. I think I they are mad we didn't move him and get picks and players in return but him leaving brought that team together too. Oh well looking forward to the leafs Bruins tonight and also caps canes, that's been a nasty series so far

oh I've seen the original, and it's fantastic. But it's the wookie sound he makes that makes that clip fantastic.

yeah probably not his fault that I couldn't care less about the New Jersey Devils Islanders and frankly I am sick of hearing about them and from them. They were one of the bumhole fan-bases that chirped us this season.

They've done amazingly well considering the loss of assets. A Leafs vs. Isles semi would give me a semi.

Buzztron had the Leafs over the Flyers in 9
- Steven_Seagull

Yeah but Buzztron had the Flyers going 42-38-9 this season for 107 points and finishing 2nd in the Pacific.

So, uh.

There is no greater evidence that we should not trade Nylander than the fact that you think that it's a good idea. Same goes for firing Dubas.

I don't know, I think Max is onto something here. Someone call Dubas and get this guy an interview

Oh man. One of my good buddies/former coworkers is a massive Islanders fan, and all through the season we had a lot of good, productive and friendly debate over the whole Isles v Leafs season-long shenanigans.

I suspect that an ECF matchup might damage that friendship irreparably

The headlines would be so tiring though:

"did they screw up by letting him go?"
"is this team better without him?"
"his addition to the team is the biggest reason for their success"

and frankly, I like Komarov, but it would get tiring.

"We like people that think outside of the box"

Max isn't just outside of the box, he fell off the (frank)ing shipping container and is now floating somewhere in the Atlantic...
