No one is being a bad winner but to say the pens were so much better in that series is ridiculous. Let's be honest the isles fans weren't happy jt left but it's worked for him as well as the isles. Personally I much prefer what happened this year than keeping JT it wasn't expected but lou and Trotz have turned this into an actual respectable team. Isles fans dont like leafs fans for trolling us all summer about tavares leaving, now leafs fans dont like the isles for trolling them back after two dominating wins in the regular season. It's become a rivalry and it's great for the players, fans and hockey in general. Also leaf fans calling out isles fans for the rubber snakes thrown and one Jersey and booing is ridiculous as well. Didn't you guys throw like 7 phaneuf jerseys on the ice and didn't you boo debrusk? Should Boston put a spotlight on him next game and cheer so his feelings aren't hurt? Hypocrites but in suppose it's a select few that give the bad name

OK great, do you have any more points to make. Nobody gives a poop on this thread about your team.

Watching Columbus the last few games... if they continue to play this way, the rest of the East is in for a very rude awakening.

NYI were outplayed, except where it matters most, in goal.

I can respect Islander fans being happy and excited, but that was about a misleading a 4-game sweep as you are likely to see.

Islanders vs. Carolina/Washington should be really good and Boston/Toronto vs. Columbus should be excellent also.

They actually gave up less shots from game 1 to 2 to 3 while getting more in each game and had a higher % of high danger chances but ok. Lehner played well that's his job and what your saying isnt correct but I'll just assumed you didn't watch the actual games

Do you not have an islander thread to go to where you can tongue bath each other for the rest of the week?

Seriously dude, congrats, but nobody cares.

Hey pal. I live in NY, and have never been to Bitch Lasagna - where is it?

That said, while living on LI is making for some excitement these days (despite the fact there are no more playoff games here), let's take the excitement elsewhere, and leave these Leaf fans to their series. Much appreciated.

Yes, I do know my team didn't make the playoffs, thanks.

yeah, the Leafs need an easy series, to rest them up for the next round.

Now (frank) off.

Columbus isn't a bad team, but sometimes lesser teams can play well, and come out on top. But they rarely do so for several series in a row.

They have some talent, but I don't see them going deep. I don't expect them to come out of round 2.

They are asking you nicely (not their norm - they're animals) to please stop talking Isles on the Leafs thread. They've even congratulated you. Prock is being a tiny bit less of an bumhole. You can't expect much more. So, feel free to stay, but if you do, talk Leafs/Bruins please. Thanks.

I watched a lot of the series, and I tend to agree with you from what I watched. They outplayed Pittsburgh a lot pretty consistently IMO. He is right that Lehner outplayed Murray too though, that was a big deal in the series.

Columbus underperformed in the regular season, and then added some excellent deadline additions.

They are good, but I dont think they are unbeatable.

I would venture a guess that the Pens regret letting Fleury go.

Funny enough, Fleury has played the best hockey of his career for the Knights.

I saw lehner win the Calder cup in Binghamton he was lights out and can do it. Good luck vs the Bruins I cant stand that team in any way shape or form, I think it's mostly because of Marchand. I also cant stand listening to Andy brickley call a game

They were just awesome vs Tampa. Were they that good or Tampa that off or a combination? They really outworked the bolts in every aspect from what I saw however it was on opposite of my team

Got used to playing pond hockey all year and couldn't play in a tight checking close series I suspect. That's gotta be one of the biggest upsets of all time
