It won't. 90% of the time the first seed beats the 8th seed & 90% of the time splurging like the Jackets did with little-to-no guarantee that they'll return the next year doesn't pay off like it did this year.

Isles have had amazing goaltending all year.

Not as surprising and the Bolts but expect few had the Isles sweeping the Pens either.

Islanders had good legs. Lehnar's really turning into the goalie Ottawa had only a couple years ago.

I don't think anyone had the sweep but I know a few, like Santo, had them winning.

I said that if Blue Jacket Bob was their best player that they'd win, and that's what happened.
