I've never been limber or flexible. And I've never really had to stretch in my life. But I guess now that's caught up to me.
I've always been such a natural athlete that I never needed to do any of that.
Plus, I need knee surgery again. - GreatGigInTheSky
Never too late to give it a shot tho

No, it's fair. I thought the same until I actually did it.
That said, the added flexibility has been good. Even Mrs Lums noted that I'm more flexible that .HOHO. now...

I can't think of anything for which a natural athlete shouldn't warm up properly
And bummer to the surgery - that (frank)ing sucks - lumlums
Think of it in the sense that Tim Lincecum never had to ice his shoulder after a game pitching. His body just worked. No maintenance required. Was just always at peak performance. Only problem, poop didn't last.
I've had the surgery before, back when I was in grade 12. Not a major surgery or anything. Just to fix poop up. |

I don’t wish this on you but if all else fails then straws can be a blessing - RatedR80
I drink beer and rye and coke. Straws aren't gonna happen.
I'll double wrist grab the drink before I use a straw. |

I always had a lot of aches and pains when I worked, mostly had physical jobs. But now that I’ve retired I feel 20 years younger. Are you still employed? - shack67
I'm the slug that carries poop around at house constructions and the guy that tears down houses by hand. So yeah, my job is very physical. |

Yuuuuuup.
And that still sucks. I've been lucky that despite several broken bones, I've only ever had to have one surgery to repair my nose after some (frank)ing clown broke my nose playing soccer. I was like 6" taller than him, so I headed the ball, and he headed my face |

Slugs are not renowned for their physicality.
Or for having hands... |

Yeah I’ve been there. They say hard work won’t hurt you but that’s bull crap. Most of the construction guys I know can hardly walk. |
