Hornqvist's first fight was almost against a goalie hahaha That would have been poetic justice.

At least they're showing some life. I really wanted to see that, no matter the outcome.

What? They had a breakaway that was cancelled by his greatness. Wish we had 10 more Hornqvists on this team.

I mean, that was one of our better PPs. You don't want to shoot mindlessly on the PP. You want to circle around until you can exploit a 2 on 1.
- Victoro311

I'm aware you don't want to just shoot, but they passed up some chances.

I dont believe this is his coaching system, this is the best he can do with the balls to the wall defense that sully wants to play.
I watched Martin alot when he coached Ottawa and his system was very tight, I liked it.

If it was mid season or even mid series I would be all for letting Martin take over. If it’s in the offseason, I would say do some interviews and let Martin be on that list for sure. I think AVs transition game would’ve been better but who knows what these coaches have or haven’t learned during their time off. Like hell, maybe Bylsma is good now lol

It’s weird to me that we pick up tough guys who were hitting and fighting regularly on their previous teams. And they get to the Pens and are completely different players

Because they aren't allowed to play like they used to. Once that Penguin sweater goes on, the rules change.

But that’s where the biggest disconnect between coach and GM is in my mind.

GM gets tough guy. Coach tells him to “just play”

Blueger is scratched for that bum. It's infuriating. He's like 5 steps slower than everybody on the ice.

I don't get it either. PLus the Pens are way too easy/ soft to play against. Someone mentioned the other day about the impacts Kunitz and Talbot in the past. This group seems to be missing that dynamic.
