Dumoulin has CLEAR control of the puck and handcuffs Malkin with an absolutely terrible pass then he gets high sticked for his trouble. Malkin is dead@$$ in front of you. How is he supposed to catch that puck and get it up the ice? Just cut him out of the play, flip it up the ice and you allow Malkin to continue moving his feet on up the ice. These defensive plays are garbage

Pens zone entrance is (frank)ing horrible but on the powerplay it takes on a new sense of horrible that the world has never seen

It’s not automatic. It is subjective per the rule book lol “in the opinion of the referee” is the end of the rule I believe.

I did notice that haha. Not a fan for that garbage either. People don’t want fighting in hockey because punching someone is not ok but bashing someone with a stick apparently isn’t. What’s the record for number of sticks being broken over you from cross checks/slashes? I’ve had 3 just from crosschecks

So once again... we have control of the puck. Instead of flipping it out Petts softly dumps it up the boards and Wilson can’t do anything with it so there’s a turnover which ultimately leads to a goal. Just flip it out ffs
