I think we are getting that MacK regardless of which goalie is in. Credit is due: the Av's have been the better team all series. If the Av's advance do you honestly think they can make it by Vegas/San Jose and then the Central? MacK is going to need to score 15-20 goals just for you guys to make the final! Not impossible but... not likely either.

Hes not going to rattle or get under anyones skin.

Bennett has been your best forward this series and he is a marginal hockey player. The stars of the Flames have non showed 3 games now, so I expect some of them to finally show up for game 4

Hey, I'm just saying that if he was pissed off at a glove save, I would be concerned about his maturity just a little bit. He's got zero issues celebrating windmill style when he scores. Great that it's motivating him, but he SHOULDN'T be getting any extra motivation from that. It's the playoffs. If he's playing to show someone up, he's got a problem on his hands.

Chucky has been focused on the wrong guys, and if word gets around that MacKinnon is easily re-focused, you can bet the face washes and agitation will pickup. Fully agree that he's been largely invisible, and that Zadorov neutered him. Made the exact comment to that effect either in another thread I think

Also agree that the Flames will come out harder in game 4 and will likely apply pressure early. They need to adapt to Colorado's aggressive style and not be so damn predictable and, frankly, lazy.

There is no tooting of Flames horns here my friend, the Avs ran a train on the YYC boys last night and if it didn't wake them from whatever slumber they've been in for 5 periods now, nothing will and they will fall in 5.

Do you honestly think the Avs or their fans are thinking about that right now? Expectations aren't to win the Stanley Cup this year. Progress would be escaping the first round.

I think he is the type of player that looks for a reason to get pissed off to push his play. It's a subconscious thing, I think.

You can't get under MacKinnon's skin to throw him off his game, at least not while he is producing. He starts missing shots and making bad plays and then your agitator gives him a shot after the whistle you may catch him.

Gio is a warrior that will leave every ounce on the ice. I would go to war with that group over the Avalanche any day..... Mackinnon has won them the last 2 battles .... we will see who wins the war!
