More Marleau is a net gain. Although he's not the player he used to be, you can be certain he won't lose his mind and cost the team. If some of the more prominent forwards play to their potential, this series should still be tight even without Kadri, who even the staunchest Leaf fan will admit, incidents of this type are almost expected from him. I have always considered him a confused wanna be tough guy. He looked so fearful of Chara my friends and I could not contain our laughter. Seriously dude, man up. Or clean up your act |

Marleau hasn't had an emotion since he got picked 2nd overall in 1997. |

I think you are wrong to call out Kadris heart. Call out his brain, or maybe his need to do too much...but not his courage. |

I really hope Willy shows he’s a true center.
Kadri has pissed me off for the last time. I’d be very happy to see him traded this summer. If Willy can play center we don’t need him. |

If we're being honest, I think we can all agree the Bruins didn't quite play their normal way game 1.
I've never seen the Leafs team know what to do when the opponent plays physically.
Anywho, we'll see tomorrow night of they have he ability to adjust. - walshyleafsfan
Agreed.
Once a team gets physical with them, theyre knocked off their game |

I don’t care about just this year.
I’m talking his career in the NHL.
Just so you know years before 2019 counts...I know some don’t think that with Nylander. |

And the Bruins couldn’t be physical when the Leafs were on their game using their speed and for checking.
It goes both ways, the Leafs have to find a way to exploit the Bruins weaknesses like they did in game 1. Losing Krug and cliffton makes their D worse. Take advantage of this. Chara will have to step up. - Santo_44
As marchand said about the 1st game, the bruins didnt play their game or anywhere close to it cause they took the leafs lightly. They wont be doing that again...ie: last night

Regardless of whether you agree with it or not, how long are we expecting Kadri’s suspension to be? |

Toronto has enough big boys in the AHL to destroy the Bruins physically, and they're capable players, not just random big bodies. This isnt the same team from 2013/14.
The problem is Babcock never called them up during the season. He always went with "talent" the whole time and only invited 5 ft 10 players onto the team.
Now the team's paying the price for it.

If you switched his name with Marchand, 0 games for the same head hit. lol
But since he's not named Marchand, probably 5. |

6. Parros will throw the book at him hoping Wilson, Reaves, Malkin, OV, Kane, Tkachuk or Kucherov don't do anything more stupid. |

I’m just happy we have Nylander and not DeBrusk.
We don’t need to be mean, it’s 2019. And if you gift the Bruins a goal, that’s okay too. But never annoy your opponent into getting suspended, that’s bad. |

Bruins played like the Leafs in game 1. Bunch of softies. Realized they made a mistake and starting playing physical. Leafs got scared like usual and wanted nothing to do with skating at pace against the Bruins D.
The Bruins will probably turn it up even higher I'd imagine knowing that Hyman, Muzzin and possibly Rielly have a set of balls. (Marner gets a pass because he deserves it). Hyman, Kadri and Rielly are usually the only 3 players I ever see sticking up for a teammate.
Same issue that Tampa seem to be facing. - walshyleafsfan
CBJ with clean, hard hits
Pastrnak a blatant charging headshot and a knee on knee by Debrusk.
The physical game isn't the problem. The problem is that the league does not protect the players from cheapshots against certain teams. |
