Anyone else tired of the anti leafs bias on the sportsnet coverage? Kypreos saying DeBrusk didn’t stick his knee out and then saying Kadri tried to sell it.
And Nylander made a bad turnover for a goal but there’s absolutely no way that Kelly Hrudey calls out a Bruin like that.
And after hearing it Kypreos almost jumped for joy. - shack67
If you subtract Kadri's antics, the rest of the Leafs played clean all game. Kadri will be subtracted for the duration of the series IMO.
Having said that, Chara with the constant lumber work; Marchand with the facewash on Tavares, Pasta with the leaving his feet. The rest of the Bruins, being a physical highly penalized team, saw an opportunity to continue with the dirty play and was rewarded for it, because Playoff Hockey. |

Yep. Agreed.
Jumbo just has the Kucherov-lite star power, the "deserves a cup" narrative and a team that's down in the series. They'll weasel out of any real punishment no matter how much it's deserved just like for Kuch. |

in particular the hits that were too late constantly are a worry.
clean hits or even a bit of facewash etc. I can get..
but trying to make a play and knowing there will be a late - unpenalized! - hit is not the right context for hockey.
in any case, the ice in toronto will be much better (I suspect that bruins had the ice bad on purpose since Leafs are more hurt by bad ice than Bruins) and I expect an easy big win by Leafs tonight. |

2016-17 regular season:
Bruins 2nd most PIM/GP
Leafs 31st most PIM/GP
2017 playoffs:
Leafs most PIM/GP
Bruins least PIM/GP
But you know, refs don't want to be the ones who decide the series, so let them play! Make sure you even up the amount of PPs - it's only right!
I franking hate NHL logic. |

He will miss the remainder of the first round,
and no other games.
There were several non-calls that contributed to this.
There was also an attempt to injure guiding Marleau into the glass.
Kadri deserve the suspension.

I thought it was crazy good all year.
I remember them scoring at like 40% in November. - Scabeh

Why maybe? He literally got fined for crosschecking someone in the face this season. |

Per #NHLBruins coach Bruce Cassidy:
Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk are in.
Connor Clifton (upper body) is out. Steven Kampfer enters the lineup.
Marcus Johansson is still sick and will not play.
no surprise on duhbrusk.

The missed calls don't matter at all. The went for the head with intent to send a message. Hrs done this before.
I feel it will be more than 5.
But we'll see |

Dude,
You know we all love you, but it is pretty (frank)ing easy to laugh off the whole refereeing bit, even when the stats paint a ridiculous picture... when your team is on the winning end of that ridiculous picture.

Well that's because the league takes the player's history into consideration.
Or so we've been told.

The last game was poorly reffed.
My tinfoil joke was more directed at Max's bad ice comment than anything. |
