DeBrusk is listed as "day-to-day" with an undisclosed injury after his immediately jumped up after the crosscheck. That status is removed shortly after Kadri's suspension is announced, GUARANTEED. DeBrusk traveled with the team. Hilarious how they're trying to milk the suspension.
In these cases, teams and players should have to declare if the player is playing or not and commit to that prior to a ruling. Pretty sure both DeBrusk and the Bruins know if hes playing or not at this point. It's far too easy to influence a DoPS ruling otherwise. - As_I_See_It They are 100% doing that. The leafs would too though. Matter of fact any team would.
It's a valid point and something that should be addressed. If a player's injuries factor into a suspension then they should know the extent of the injury. |

I have to say it is pretty frustrating seeing him not scoring inthe post season. I honestly think Babcock needs to change his wingers. All the Bruins need to do is focus on him and leave his wingers alone, and that line us useless.
I think he could use Hyman back on his line as crazy is that to say. - Archaic
All of a sudden people seem to realize that Hyman is one of Toronto's best players.
Some on here keep (or kept) calling him stone hands, but apart from being a mediocre finisher, he is everything you'd want from in a winger to support topline centers like Tavares/Matthews.
Hyman for Captain. |

Debrusk hugely sold that hit by staying on the ice for a while - honestly don't think that cross-check was that hard. - MaximusAurelius
Agreed. Those refs were awful that game. Ive watched a lot of other games, its crazy how incosistent the refs are accross all of the games.
Its really a joke. Refs should be an independent body away from the League. |

I agree. The Matthews line was shutdown by Bergeron last year. I think this year would be different with the same line and them not being matched against them for the next two games.
JT/Marner dont need Hyman as much as Matthews line appears to. - Archaic
Agreed.
JT and Marner don't need anyone. That's why you 'hide' Marleau there.
Kadri struggles to play with lightning quick players and Kaps would feast against a 4th line.
Obviously Nylander missed a few months, but i never understood why we took Hyman away from Matthews. |

I dont think he is one of our best players, he is just one of our only decent forecheckers. How good with Simmonds of been with Matthews...pretty damn good.
I like what he brings, but lets not overstate what he is. |

He played the rest of the game. This wont impact the suspension. This isnt concussion related else his status wouldnt be in question. They arent THAT stupid. - Archaic He didn't play the rest of the game though.

honest question; did you feel Bruins were playing clean aggressive hockey last game, or did you think some stuff was over the top and only permitted because of referees losing their whistles? |

I agree, but haven't they set a precedent of already doing that?
I'm pretty sure I remember hearing as much from the DoPS |

He said he played the rest of the game. I pointed out he didn't. The time remaining has no bearing on my comment. Especially when the team tweeted out that he wouldn't return to the game. |

This has nothing to do with a concussion else he'd already be listed as out. A concussion isnt a GTD. He was listed as questionable in the series already. It has zero to do with the crosscheck. Pretty obvious. |

I came in here and disagreed with a non call and was called a loser, homer, idiot etc. So I'm not interested in opening myself up to those discussions anymore.

Actually, if you look at a previous post of mine I said they're 100% milking this. But to think the Bruins are the only team that would do so is naive. The Leafs would do the exact same thing.

Oh I never said that, I just said no way they are stupid enough to use that against Kadri for his suspension. Anyone listed as questionable isnt suffering from a concussion. |
