I thought Kadri was the best player on the ice for either team.

I don't think there was a knee on knee that should have been called a penalty.

I think the Kadri cross check involved substantial embellishment by Debrusk and a one game suspension is more than enough. I would be very okay and could endorse any disciplinary hearing that decided for "no suspension."

I thought Kadri played the game the way Canadians believe it should be played and I think he is being scapegoated because he was the only Leaf who played with the huge heart that you want to see from every player during the NHL playoffs.

I believe NHL will give a much lengthier suspension due to the optics and past history.

Also, Kadri was rightly frustrated since there were so many non calls seemingly going the other way... the alleged knee on knee, getting knocked around with shots to the head, etc. etc.. and then the hit on marleau into the stanchion caused kadri to snap and make a selfish play with the cross check to the face.

if he just falls on him or checks him to the chest... different story, then just a roughing minor instead of major and suspension....

Honestly shocked with how Tampa has played and been beaten down 3-0 in the series now. Happy but shocked. I really thought the Jackets would put up a fight, figured Tampa would still handle it and emerge in 5 or 6 games. The fact they have utterly shyte the bed to this extent is shocking.

That said the moves at the deadline really helped solidify the Jackets and Bob has been utterly stellar here. Not over yet but Tampa has one foot in the proverbial grave at this point here and don't see them coming all the way back winning 4 straight.
