I hope he does too, it'd be a nice addition to get more skill into the lineup! He's arguably our best forward prospect, and has played pretty well in the Swedish pro league. Excited to see how he does at the World Championships

Hmm yeah im not sure about this season, he's more of a Miles Wood type of player, he hasnt put up the stats that makes me think he'll make the big club, so i think he'll end up in the AHL this season. Boqvist is more about skill/speed, had a real solid season and hopefully has a good showing at the WC's, i think he has a legit shot to make the team out of camp. We could have a couple young guys make the jump this year, we all expect Smith to make the team, Boqvist certainly has a big chance, Zetterlund possibly could, and Davies has an outside chance too, but i think the last 2 likely start the year in the AHL. We'll hopefully have Walsh thrown into the mix after next season and I also wonder if Talvitie will come out of college after next season as well, he's the forward prospect i'm real excited about after Boqvist

I’ve learned to not get excited for any of our prospects just look at Mcloed we were so excited for him so far he hasn’t shown anything in the AHL or NHL to be excited about I know he’s young but Bastian who I was pissed we drafted has shown more promise

that's 3, if not 5 additional skilled forwards and 2 skilled dmen... added to a roster that was finishing the year around below .500... with Stafford scoring some goals.

It's going to be fun to watch. I wonder where they put Boqvist. Isn't he a center? Maybe let him develop another year over there before coming over? I don't want to trade Zajac. I think he's the perfect 3rd line C, is our ONLY center that can win faceoffs, and can pot 40pts, which is more than Zacha..couldn't resist. I'm down to move Zacha to wing. Maybe Boqvist centers the 4th line? Kind of like Seney/Rooney did? I don't think it's all that terrible of a thing to have a developing player getting sheltered 4th line minutes.. as long as he sees at least 7 minutes of ice/game.

Ya its gonna be a special season for sure. You really want skinner though? I'd prefer someone with an edge, like a better, more offensively consistent Wood. Its crazy how adding someone like Hughes can add so many options to line combos and such. Add in the another year of growth to our kids. DAMN

I wouldn't mind Skinner, but i feel like he's going to get a huge over payment due to his breakout 40 goals this year. I actually really like Ferland, i think he'd be a great addition in both scoring depth for the middle 6 but he adds a physical presence/grit factor that we need lol. If we can't get any of the top dogs, EK or Panarin, Ferland is my top choice, but i wouldnt mind a Skinner, Dzingel, or Eberle. Lots of options out there for us, hopefully we can find something for a good price. Also, i know a lot of people give him poop but i wouldnt mind Gardiner, he'd slot perfectly onto the top pairing on the left side and allow us to slide Greene down from that spot. Good options come July 1, but i also expect a trade to come through too.

Eb's and hall are buddies and we can afford to overpay him on a short term. I think Gards want's out of the spotlight, and why not NJ? Have you checked our LD or RW UFA options? Those two make the most sense to me.
