Bring me the Swede. Go all or nothing. Dont let the gumchewing halfling scare us off from getting innovative.
Plus, half our team will be Sedish in a couple years and its sure to bring a lot of blonde eye candy to the arena.

am getting the impression that Housley was the mastermind of that system, that's why he's gone...in the friedman piece, he said it's believed they want to retain smith

Makes sense to me.

One of McLellan, AV or Crawford please. No more experiments - see Phil Housley, Ron Rolson for reference.

What about Jacques Martin?
He did a decent job in Ottawa a little while back.

They've been there and done that with Teddy. They're not gonna do it again. I'm just saying I don't think it would be a ridiculous decision
- jcragcrumple

i'd take him over any outside the top-3 I mentioned earlier

I think you're forgetting '99

He has more SC experience than McClellan.

If it's not gonna be Gronborg, which it seems pretty obvious it won't be, I'd have Lindy neck-and-neck with AV. McClellan does nothing for me

I understand people don’t want to bring ruff Back but He was the best and we are constantly having the same problems since he left maybe time away will give him new fresh ideas to put in his system

He'll be 27 in July and had fewer goals in 62 games for SKA than Yakupov had in 47.

Won MVP last year and led the league in points this year?

Seen the low goal total. But everything else looks good?

I have a system for you.

Play harder and smarter than the other team, clean up your own end and score more than the opposition.

It doesn't have to be reinventing the wheel here.

Just no Sabre or Penguin connections, please. We've been fed too much of that recently, Bills and Sabres.

Yeah but he was Outscored by Kovalchuk last year and look how that's gone for Kovy.

Not saying he's bad by any stretch, just that KHL numbers are really hard to translate to the NHL.
