All for trading back a few picks if Kakko is gone by #3. NYR taking Podkolzin would be a Godsend. - Assman22
A Godsend only if Cozens available at #3. Kakko, Cozens go first two choices then i trade down to #5 . i don't want Hughes or Podkolzin! Some team needs a skill small center or tries for HR with mid level first round.picks meaning all the other players we might settle to draft at #5. Wait too long and you ate left with Hughes, Podkolzini or a prosoect that you didn't really want. Fingers crossed for good luck because with a top six choice we havr to get a quality choice. |

I have a sneaky suspicion he told Toews to just play his offensive game and not worry so much about the defensive side of things. A happy, healthy, and confident Toews is a really really good thing for the Hawks. - bhawks2241
Think he told the whole team that. Though, they did play much better defensively the last month of the season.
The pressure mounts on TB. |

Tampa looks awful. They suddenly forgot how to play defense or did they overlook Columbus and not take them seriously? |

They’re mentally weak and the moment(being heavy favorites to win it all) is too much for them to handle. |

They haven't choked yet so they haven't wasted their talent. There's still a long way to go but one thing Tampa has to understand and understand fast, playoff hockey isn't easy and they have to work, roll up their sleeves and get bruised and dirty. So far Tampa seems happy to go for a stroll in the lavender field.
All that said I still think Tampa will figure this out. |

Didnt CLB jump up to a 2-0 lead vs WASH last year?

If TB loses and pulls Vasilevski look out CLB .Domingue was no slough when Vasilevski was hurt .
Funny all the regular season Record holders for points win's etc. in hockey baseball did not win the title that year . TB still has Rutta ,how could they lose |

Still, it helps to be off to a great start. Have to think CBJ will win a series eventually. |

Pierre making my point - can’t shoot it straight on to a Bobrowski without bodies at the net blinding him. |

I was kinda impressed by JC's growth throughout this season. He must be doing something right. Guys who have won multiple Cups were willing to play their asses off for the guy. - Elbows15
Guys who have won multiple Cups play for themselves, and each other, long before they play for a coach. |

This series is far from being over. Remember when everyone counted the Hawks out in the past only to win the series in 6 or 7 games. It's all about momentum and it changes on a dime. |

Not saying TB is anywhere near as bad as we were two years ago, but so far this CBJ-TB series looks a lot like the CHI-NSH series. CBJ just out working TB in all zones.
Doesn't hurt that they have a hot PP right now either.

Watching the Jackets, Duchene is in beast mode.
what if stan signs him?
Duchene-Toews-Cozens
the cat-Strome-Kane
Saad-UFA-Kahun
Caggulia-Kampt-Kubalik
Send AA for picks, or trade Saad for defense and put AA on the wing.
Thought Stan once liked Duchene |

Columbus is a MUCH better team this year, their TDL additions may just now be jelling. |
