Completely expected. My guess it will be Maatta.
My new concern is that if the Pens win and JJ is his usual self, he will stay in because they won. - Rinosaur
Oh for sure. That’s 100% happening. |

Yohe Reports JJ back in. - j.boyd919
So far only Yohe is saying this, though he also noted JJ was off early today. I know Yohe is usually right, but I'm still going to hold out hope. |

If that's how it happens, then I hope it goes like Hainsey a couple years ago where everyone complains about him all the way Cup. 😎 |

The issue isn't that JJ has been bad (he has) but that he will completely neutralize any tangible offensive ability Schultz will be able to bring to the game...so it stands to reason that the team will be icing 1 defensive unit capable of adding and not draining offense. |

I want JJ to be good, he just isn’t. People here for some reason think that me and other JJ detractors hope he’s bad so we can say we are right. 100% bullpoop.
I was equally, if not more critical of Gudbranson and I’m singing his praises.
Johnson is just bad and he’s not close to as good as Hainsey, and Hainsey is just OK. |

Hopefully some Jack Johnson crow, but more likely I’m ordering from this new Shish Kebab place. They do this hummus with thinly sliced beef. Best hummus ever.

Per Mackey: Maatta went off the ice at roughly the same time as Johnson, so its unlikely he’s the one getting replaced. We’ve either got an injury or we’re going 7D. Don’t hate the idea of 7D given that Wilson provides nothing. Limit Johnson’s negative impact to the PK. |

I wasn't being critical at all. Can't because I agree with everything you wrote.
Hainsey was a solid 3rd pair guy being asked to fill in on his off-side for Letang. It was over his ability, but I appreciate what he did to help win that Cup.
I'm just now almost rooting for a deep run with everyone complains about JJ because this board will be entertaining. But I agree, he's not good. |

Extra shifts for Crosby and Malkin would at least be a positive.
I'm actually surprised by the Wilson hate. Isn't he at least good analytically? Seems like the type of guy that at least doesn't hurt you. |

His analytics are as average as humanly possible. He's basically a good plug. Won't hurt the team but imminently replaceable. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have him in than Johnson, but if Johnson draws in for Wilson I can't bring myself to get outraged. |
