You know. I know it's playoff hockey. I am not unfamiliar with this.

But Kane cross checking Stone hard without the puck, and no penalty being called and then Kane scoring that 4th goal on the turned over puck really leaves a sour taste.

I know they 'put away the whistles' in the playoffs, but that's off the rails to me.

It has been pretty bad from the start in this game, whistles were never even brought out on the ice apparently. Both teams have gotten away with some ugly stuff, and then some absolute jokes of penalties have been called too. It is pretty jarring to see how incompetent the officiating is I agree.

Fleury almost getting into a fight there too!! Wow this game has had just about everything!

I've caught parts of all the games tonight. This is one is by far the most loosely officiated.

But I will say that the Leafs had better be ratcheting up their play because all of the teams tonight look fantastic win or lose.
