in Larry Brooks column today he says Vancouver will make major push to try and acquire first overall from the Devils to unite the Hughes brothers, like the new Sedins.

I don't think we could pass on Hughes. They aren't giving us Elias, I'm not sure if they gave us 3 firsts I'd want to do that trade.

My Devils fan bud thinks Hughes might be Shero's type of guy, so who knows.

How high do you think their 2020 will be? If you think top 5 that trade might do it. Boesner is a really nice piece. I know they play different games, but I think Brock would be a Kreider replacement.

I want Kakko for sure. I'm just saying that trade wouldn't be a bad value. If Vancouver finishes in the bottom 10 next year, don't forget next year's draft is potentially historically good. As much as I said that tanking didn't matter in terms of drafting between 5 and 7 this year, I would be beating the drum for team tank next year if it meant we had two top picks in that draft.

Yea Rangers can't mess this up...we have a chance to get a potential superstar player. I don't want a bunch of good prospects I want the superstar

2020 top 3 is gonna be good. Lafreniere, Byfield, Holtz and Raymond are likely compete for those spots.

From what I heard, all the guys projected from say 4-10 would theoretically go second in this draft. Third as worst. As loaded a draft as there has been in a really long time.
