I don't disagree with anything you stated, but what is Georgie worth in a trade? Typically, goalies don't get a great return when traded. I am thinking I would rather keep him and watch him continue to grow rather than get a 3rd round pick in a trade.

I just don’t think that you will get a 1st for him. I know the rumor was we turned down one for Talbot, but I don’t see too many goalies going for 1st. People actually thought Schneider was an elite goalie and that was an outlier. I think you could get a 2nd and a decent but not great prospect.

I just don't understand getting rid of someone like Georgie. I mean yeah if you can get a haul for him I guess I wouldn't be too much against it, but I would love to see the numbers of how many goalies that are drafted actually become legit #1's. I think you hold onto them when you find it. Georgie was spectacular with the awfulness that was our defense, imagine how much better he would be with even an average defense infront of him.

I have no problem with holding on to him. I think there is always value in possibly selling high. You also have to worry about if he’s the odd man out in the shuffle anyway with Shesty. With Georgie, timing might be a problem. 2 years later, hank is probably gone and you have a good competition
