Thank god. I thought he hurt a knee or broke a leg. Didn't get to watch the end of the 3rd period and OT. A missed oportunity to beat the Islanders. We'll get them next time as long as our young guys start playing.

Not overly concerned with last night, they had everything clicking and still needed OT to beat us even with our D out to lunch, I like our chances tomorrow

Who is Rust getting replaced with? This style of play works for Horny. I liked McCaan where he was last night not sure if switching horny and Rust will hurt that though.

It could work. Rust didn’t play well. McCann wasn’t anything special. I thought Bjugstad played well with Simon and Kessel.
I wanted to see Blueger out there too.

Had a bad game. We gotta go through and replace everyone that had a bad game unless it's Dumo, Corsby, or G. Rust needs to go to the fourth line and Maatta needs to be scratched.

Aside from breaking up that 2-on-1, that might have been the worst game Dumoulin has played in a few years. On the first 2 goals, he was out of position, and he took himself out of the play completely in OT. Not saying sit him for JJ, but he needs to be MUCH better. Also, Maatta wasn't doing much to solidify his spot, either.

With the way the Isles initially came out, its a very hard way for Dumo and ZAR to return to game action after missing some time.

Yeah Dumo was awful. Maatta wasn’t great but I thought Dumo was way worse.

The ONLY thing I'd change is Bloog in for ZAR or Wilson which IMO should have bee the decision from the get-go.

This may play to our advantage. At the end of the day, it's still Martin, Cizikas, and Clutterbuck. They played above themselves last night, and if Trotz think that he can over-deploy them on a night to night basis and win that matchup against the Crosby unit consistently, let him try. We deserve to lose if Sid can't cave those guys in.
