DON'T hire Todd McLellan !!!! If Buffalo does, you WILL see marked improvement for about 4 years and you WON'T get past the 2nd round of any playoff series. Check the record. By all means, let LA have him
- Bobbo

you're talking to a fanbase that hasn't seen the playoffs is 4,217 years. 2nd round would be a dream

This scares me.

He's signed through 2020-2021 season with SKA. Some think he might stay for that if not longer. He's the one guy I simply don't want. We can't risk it.

The contract means nothing. If he is told he will play in the NHL with meaningful minutes then he will be here.

For the second pick, Nolan Foote looks interesting. He's projected in the high 20s. Big winger who looks like he can skate and score. If he has half the grit as his old man he might be worth a look. I've only seen a few highlights, anyone have any more info on him?

It means nothing, but the rumor is out there he is considering staying over there for some time. True or untrue, that needs to be factored in. Fair?

Put in a call to Mogilny to have a talk with the kid. He’s borderline royalty to Russian hockey players.

I like Matt Robertson a lot. Sounds like he can develop into a really nice two-way defenseman, something our system is lacking. You put a guy like that next to Dahlin, Montour or Pilut and that pair can do wonders.

Was just going to say I wish Robertson would fall to us, but think he's gone earlier. There are only a few in that range I've looked at, Foote not being one of them. Robertson I liked what I saw, good call TST.

Just like in the first pack of guys with our first pick, this next pack of guys are all similar too. It'll be BPA all the way with Botts, and it should be because we're not heavy on high end talent at any position. Goalie maybe with just UPL. Some great looking D and some great looking Fs. I hope he's there, but if he's not, there's a lot of guys that have the high IQ and hockey sense.. some with shooting, some with passing ability that just need to fill out.

We keep supporting this poop, he's right we are the dumbest fans in the country.

Then stop.

No one is forcing anyone to go to games, buy jerseys, etc etc etc.

Lots of talk, very little walk from what I've seen.

I love Newhook, but I think he goes in the teens...won't be there for the 20's.

I'd like to draft Spencer Knight.
We have to think of these guys as assets, nothing more...if 2 years down the road and UPL is dominating, and Knight is the 2nd coming...trade one for a stud at another position.
Same with Dmen, they are worth gold if developed properly.

I don’t think they’ll be there
Definitely not Newhook

I like McMichael if he falls, but i think he’ll be gone too

With how important goalie is,
I think it would be smart to get another top goalie prospect

Wonder if say risto, 7th pick and maybe something else gets you point from Tampa?
- 716

I believe the draft and off season will center around Tampa and Toronto.
Both teams have cap issues and very desirable players. I think they move pieces, salaries and plenty of good picks get shuffled. Both teams need budget defensive players.
That is what I will be looking at.

Even if we kept both,
having 2 really good goalies is a nice “problem” to have
