I only have trouble figuring out the 4th line. As someone above said it'll be competition for our 40 plus 4th liners we have in the system. |

Starting to get a little crowded, eh? Might leverage a pick and a good prospect for some image help on the wing |

Shero is going to likely make some sort of trade on draft day that crafty bastard. |

If we could pick up one good forward piece in free agency we'd look really good.
I like Zacha and I'm think he should be a W or 3C; but I'm not sure he's really a 2nd line player. If we have Hughes there with Palms, we should give him a l more established LW.

No way. Hall and Nico are developing great chemistry.
And hughes will have a super hard time against 230 lb centerman. Put Hughes on wing and let him fly up and down. - Leniwm1

Bovquist I think will be in lineup and possible on 2nd line because he is so good. Shero will def be making a trade because our kids need to play consistently and needs room for them. |

I don't take much stake for forward positions at junior levels. Players get switch around and he'll develop into a position as his skill set dictates. |

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO LOAD UP THE PICTURE HE POSTED
If the blackhawks are smart they take cole caufield - cu45161
Remember Alex DeBrincat The kid I said we should take at 11 in 2016, and everyone said not in the first round he's to small.
Alex DeBrincat NHL 82 41 35 76 15
what sort of numbers are Pierre-Luc Dubois, Jesse Puljujärvi, Clayton Keller, Alexander Nylander, Tyson Jost, Logan Brown, Michael McLeod,Luke Kunin,Kieffer Bellows, Julien Gauthier, doing.
I like torcett and Krebs as well, but the main point I am making is that Caulfield is better than Podkolzin. |

NHL.com's mock for us:
1. New Jersey Devils
Kimelman -- Jack Hughes, C, USA U-18 (NTDP): An elite all-around talent who uses skill, speed and vision, rather than size (5-foot-10, 170 pounds), to intimidate. The 17-year-old led USA Hockey's National Team Development Program under-18 team with 86 points (23 goals, 63 assists) in 41 games, and his 202 points (63 goals, 139 assists) in 101 games during two seasons with the NTDP broke Clayton Keller's record of 189. Depth at center is key to becoming a perennial Stanley Cup contender, and with Nico Hischier and Hughes, the Devils will have two outstanding pieces to build around.
Morreale -- Hughes: The left-shot center is an elite skater who can think the game at top speed and has a knack for finding open areas on the ice. Hughes, who skates with Devils forward Taylor Hall in Toronto during the offseason, is the most electrifying player available at the draft. He has great hands, feet and an insatiable appetite to succeed. He'll be a franchise-defining player.
Lepage -- Hughes: With his great season and the NTDP records he has broken along the way, no team would dare pass on the opportunity to select a player with so much potential. |

That goal was so nice, and he was only 16 lol, his puck control and agility/edgework is fantastic. I dont see a world where we're not taking him at 1, unless he under-performs hard at the upcoming u18s and Kakko outplays him at the world championships(if Hughes even plays). Plus with his connections to Shero and Hall, i think its highly likely he's our guys. Its an exciting time to be a Devils fan, and we can actually put this putrid season behind us! |

No wood on third line? - dmarsden2988
he did say the 4th line could be a mix of any of our 4th liners . But seriously, I'd be down with Wood-Zajac-Coleman as our 4th line. Anderson can go on the 4th if he's going to play. Should be a fun camp with 3 lines worth of 4th line young players that could make the team. |

#trade chip. Ray has chips and it feels good. Zacha could be an option, Zajac, Boqvist.. some of the other prospects.. all those picks.. we have chips. Can't wait to see what he pulls off. |

Zajac had 46 points this year, I think he's got the 3c locked up. It will be interesting to see what happens to Zacha, but my guess is he's with Zajac and Coleman or traded. |

You're saying because he's small he needs to move.
Brayden Point: 5'11 174
Vince Trochek: 5'10 186
Joe Pavelski: 5'11 190
Sebastion Aho: 6'0 175
Max Domi: 5'10 193
Hughes will be fine. You jsut got another top 6 center. Those are so valuable. Why would move him? |

I don't understand all this trade Zajac stuff. He's loyal, still very effective, and a good role model for the young kids. We aren't getting back what he's worth to us in a trade, and guys like McLeod are far from a sure thing. Hell we still don't even really know what we have in Zacha. |
