Here's how we get the Blues pick. If VGK, DAL, or COL make the conference finals and STL doesn't we will get their pick
- mattmoulson

Pretty sure all that’s needed is a StL loss in the 1st rd and one of those three to win in rd 1. Playoff teams get seeded based on how far they go in the playoffs. 1st round losers get seeded based on points and so on for the other rounds.

Didn't know all this. Appreciate the insight. I believe that CAR beat out STL though, so STL is 19th, not 20th. I could be wrong but saw a few people talking about it on the twatter.
- RhinoFan

Yes, Carolina did beat St Louis, but still shows ST Louis at 20th according to this

Think guys like Marcus Johansson, Brock Nelson and Colin Wilson will all get long term deals? I would have thought one or two of them would be willing to sign a 3 year deal. Whether they'd do that with us is another question.
- RhinoFan

I would do Brock Nelson no problem. He had a breakout year, and he's multipositional. He seems like he'd be a fine short term anchor, get his 5.5M and 5 years. He'd be a great complimentary scorer anywhere in the lineup. He'd be today's 4th best forward.

stay on it, if it is like Atkins, as soon as you stray from it, the weight comes back...all of it plus a couple more as punishment.

I'm pretty sure they only reseed conference finalists

pro tip: it is. Lose the weight, then find something sustainable. Don't go off the rails for a second.

this is correct.

St Louis currently slotted in 20th draft position, not 19th.

Therefore, to move UP one slot to 19, THEY MUST WIN
AND
One of the teams with a higher draft position currently must also win...Colorado, Dallas, Vegas and Columbus all finished with less points therefore have higher draft positions currently.

Losers in Round 1 are then re-slotted into the draft positions based on their season ending points and tie-breakers.
For this discussion of Buffalo retaining the St Louis pick, it has nothing to do with Conference finals to determin 16, 17, 18, 19,

Not to beat a dead horse...

CURRENT 2019 Draft Order
http://www.tankathon.com/nhl/mock_draft
see selection 20 with St Louis pick going to Anaheim since it qualifies (20 - 31) for the Montour Trade Conditions

Determining Draft Order of Playoff Teams

Draft Order: The 14 teams who did not make the playoffs are eligible for the draft lottery, with the teams with lower total regular sesason points receiving more number combinations, and the winner gets the first overall pick. The rest of the picks are determined by reverse order of elimination from the playoffs, with the Stanley Cup winner receiving the last pick. For teams that were eliminated in the same round, the teams with the lower regular season point total gets the higher pick. All of the subsequent rounds are ordered in the same manner

Atkins and Keto change your body chemistry tricking it to treat fat like carbohydrates. Not good long term solution and not sustainable at all. Well balanced diet, quit eating shat late night and a bit of exercise will get er done long term and you can still drink, eat like shat on occasion.

Neither of these are impossible, actually probable. I think the Blues have the best shot at a cup this year than they have ever had. ROR at the top of his game is the one piece they have never had (modern era) to make a deep run

Umm, we need St Louis to LOSE! Now the dead horse has been thoroughly beaten.

I'll report myself and will enjoy the ban.
