(frank) no. He's by far the most contested prospect in the draft. You don't take that third.

Even at 8th, it looks like we have the opportunity to grab another center. Probably will require some development, but it is an area of need.

Was just going to say this.

This draft works for us. Lots of centers. Couple LWers to look into and one offensive defenseman. 1-8th matters, but we should get a pretty solid player no matter where we fall.

Drafting Podkolzin will be like drafting Josh Allen. The raw talent, physicality, skillset is amazing. He's just not adding up. If they pick him, I sorely hope the staff sees things we don't.

Expecting Dahlin to not fall to the Sabres worked last year. I implore the lot of you to expect to not win the lottery and bet on picking Turcotte, Zegras or Podkolzin.

TBH I'd really be fine picking in top 6, but with true Buffalo attitude I'm preparing to pick 7th or 8th.

Was sold after I rewatched that Hlinka Tourney. Great shot, good hands, good skater, attacks the net, hard in the corners. He's a complete hockey player and we need a little sandpaper in this lineup. Think he's the perfect fit if we don't hit the Triple 7s.

As a Giants fan, I'm not opposed to tossing a 2nd at Arizona to see if it would work, provided a few things:

1) You don't feel any of this year's QB's merit either of the first round picks.
2) You had him graded just below Saquon.

I doubt either of those are true though.

Agreed, if he is available when they select except in top 2, I run to the podium like a man with the Hersey Squirts who just took 2 laxatives 30 minutes ago heading off to the mens room

I believe I saw the only QB able to mix in with last year's class is Kyler. Everyone else would be after Lamar Jackson. I didn't read too much about it, just what I head.
