11-8 since March 1. Short term they were 9-2 I think but since March 1 teams hav been near equal. Again I tried to pick a date and run with it. I think I covered the amazing run they had since Jan 1- unprecedented really.

Fair enough, but they lost Schenn and Tarasenko during that period in early March..

So I asked Alexa (my virtual assistant) who she was cheering for in the Stanley cup playoffs, she said Winnipeg.

On another note, I am now in the market for a new device if anyone knows where I can get a good deal.

As per Lebrun’s article on the Athletic. Here is a quote from an nhl coach.

“I think Winnipeg’s game this year was really predictable,’’ said the coach, and not in a good way. “If you take their power play away, they seem to wait for the power play.

Who can argue with this? And how can Maurice not be blamed for it? To me, no one is under more pressure this playoffs for the Jets than Maurice

I don’t disagree with the assessment that the Jets played predictable hockey this year, but that’s not all on the coach. I see it as a result of lack of chemistry. That lead to less commitment and less enthusiasm all over the ice. Forecheck, backcheck and creativity with the puck. They don’t look like they are having as much fun as last year.

The most telling thing about this year, was the fact that nhl scoring was up yet how many Jets forwards saw a big boost in points this year.
The best was Tanev and Conner and when you go by ppg they beat their career best by what amounts to 5 points each over a 82 game season
