Move nylander to center, he's not much of a scoring winger and his set up skills are wasted on kadri and marleau

Keep the top line intact and match them up against the bruins top line (loss)

Give kadri and marleau Tyler Ennis, hopefully they can stop debrusk (tie)

Matthews and kap get Moore on the left side (Big win!!!!)

Johnson-nylander-brown destroy bostons 4th line (win)

I'm surprised that there isn't some different names left on that poll.

So same as Rask then? Are you aware Rask has a .883 since the start of march?

Of course not, because any concerns/negatives about the Bruins are ignored.

- RogerRoeper

Difference is though, the Bruins can play defense in front of him. Leafs can't.

No, it’s people that resort to insults when replying to people’s opinions that get warned or banned.

I don't believe that's an actual thought from Cox.

He either decided to start saying the exact opposite of what he thinks because he's trying to get back in the good of the business or he hired a ghost tweeter.

It’s a lot of work switching IP’s but it got me through to the next round, it was too close with Burn, had to pick it up with a flurry of voting at the end of the round.

I have a feeling this will be one of those stupid series where the Leafs make it impossible for Boston not to over-extend themselves and let the Leafs play their style.

It'll be the same old Leafs, the D will be prous. Andersen will continue to let pucks in. But at the same time they'll score a lot and chase Rask on at least one occasion.

We're talking a bunch of 5-4/6-5 games. Andersen's best game will be a 2-1 loss after a game where he lets in 5, but still wins In no way will the leafs as a team deserve to win this but the forward depth will surprise the Bruins, especially if that top line is actually held at bay by the Bruins. I think it'll be that kinda series.

Really hoping we see the Gardiner from 2013.

That's analysis with numbers and calculamations and stuff, and they've put it in graph form, so there's no way anyone could argue with it.

I didn't know the teams were close until I saw that chart.

One of the funniest things this year was Myrtle after 10 games giving all his Leafs projections for the rest of the season, I commented that none of his projection will be right, he replied with something like a 85% probability. I just laughed.

Guess what? None of his projections were even close, all wrong.

The Leafs can do this. The Bruins are still a tough team to beat, but the Leafs have improved more dramatically since last year. I think this is the year that the Leafs stomp the dogpoop out of the Bruins. Rask is an overrated paper tiger. Chara is a pylon. If Anderson can stay dialed in, I have the Leafs winning in 5 or 6 (they better, or they are gonna break my bracket).

The Leafs have been playing like garbage for awhile now. They should have been better than last year with Tavares and Muzzin but their final standings didn't show it.

If they want to beat the Bruins, they have to chase Rask early in the series, even though Halak isn't all that bad either.

Bergeron vs. Matthews
Marchand vs. Tavares
Pastrnak vs. Marner
Krejci vs. Kadri
DeBrusk vs. Kapanen
Krug vs. Rielly
Rask vs. Andersen

Looks pretty even. The difference maker has to become Nylander. He has to wake up for the first time this season.

- JohnFergusonJr

Leafs aren't gonna beat the Bruins. A simple twat like myself can see that.

Unfortunately, for the next 3 months I'm going to have to witness or listen to expected Goals, Corsi, Forsi, Caresi, zone starts and all the other poope you have to go through. After we've all decided the Leafs didn't/couldn't beat the Bruins, we get to look forward to 6 months of blaming Babcock.

Going from the Oilers to the Sabres..McLellan sure knows how to pick em.
- AdamFrench

After fungoolah fires McLellan - between the Buffalo Bills and Sabres he will have a coaching and gm payroll that is about twice McDavid's contract. His wife is an excellent President for the Sabres.

Babcock and Matthews having a word after practice.
I loved Matthews response to the media asking him what was said.

Did they really though? They score more goals and they give up more goals. Their GAA is literally 20th overall. That's not an improvement for playoff success.

I get what you are saying, but the regular season is meaningless now. Fresh season and clean slate for everyone. Even my Lightning's historic season means jack squat now.

The Leafs added Tavares and Muzzin. The former is a having a career year and living a dream. That alone is almost good enough to win a round if he puts the team on his back. Tavares can be a game-breaker.

I don't think they will get past the 2nd round, yet. But, I do think the Leafs are rising and the Bruins are fading - this is probably the year that the Leafs make that fact apparent. (or at least I hope so, because I have zero love for the Bruins and their crew of dirty players and face-lickers).
