Bruins fans complaining about calls against them? Sure. They’ll probably ignore the 4 to 1 ratio power play advantage for the Bruins while doing so.

And Murry is finally starting to play some decent goaltending.

Leafs are what, last in the league for pp opportunities, and among the bottom for penalties taken? We also are among the best for 5 on 5 scoring.

And if I can take anything away from Wedgies wonderful analysis of last years playoffs, it's that we seem to do better when there are less power plays for both sides.

If we don't take many penalties in this series against Boston, I think we can win this. I think we're honestly better off with our much maligned "soft as baby poop" play style.

The only real issue is that the Bruins may not be willing to play that way and the refs could decide they want to feel important and they start making lots of calls.
We also obviously need Andersen to have his head on straight and play solid for us, although this could be said for any team and their starter.

That being said, I agree with you and hope that's what happens.

The Leafs window to win is now. They can’t afford to lose first round again. The league is super competitive now and there so many teams a player of two from breaking out. Colorado is going to win cups with that roster. Cale Makar and probably one of either Hughes or Kakko will push them over the top. Now we got FLA promising to spend and added a HOF coach. Sens are few years off, but I think they’ll rebound. Buffalo is a player or two away from being a threat again. They had an off year. Vancouver will be good, Edmonton you can’t count out. There’s a lot of teams with some crazy skill who didn’t make the playoffs.
