I think so.. In all honesty, I think the Tavares line matches up well against the Bergeron line.. my worry is Babs putting the Kadri line against the Bergeron line.. If he does that, the Kadri line will be eaten alive. - PatC80
I still see it as a decent advantage for Boston. Esp when you factor in who on D is going to be matched up against them.

If somehow they can keep that line in check, they have a huge advantage in this series. That line is crazy good though. |

In terms of matchups, I think the Tavares v. Bergeron line is the best we can do. It also opens up the Matthews line. With the speed of Matthews, Kappy and Johnsson we can really put some pressure on their defense.
Kadri's line with Marleau and Nylander wouldn't stand a chance against the Booins top line. I sincerely hope Kadri doesn't do something stupid again and get suspended.

They won't be shutout, but the Tavares line, would hopefully limit your top line..
If we can limit the top line to a combined 2 points or less per game.. We should be good. |

I could see Marchand getting suspended this series, he likes to take it too far. - Archaic
That would involve the league actually suspending him. Good luck. |

Where will the Sens pick end up in the draft? Could they get the 1st overall that would go great lengths in their rebuild? 2nd overall that could help just as much?
Where ever it is, I'm sure Sens fans are giddy with anticipation! They're so lucky to have the best odds at winning the draft lottery.
I know I'm truly envious of their chances of drafting a real franchise changer. |

Lafrenière in 2020. |

I completely agree.
Even if Bergeron gets to shutdown Matthews like he did last year. Who's gonna shutdown Tavares?
It changes everything really.
If anything, I think Bergeron will face Tavares's line. So we might see a way better series out of Matthews compared to last year. - Scabeh

2020 looking super good to be fair. 2019 as well though. The Americans are really (frank)ing dominating this draft. |

Krejci/Backes line? - zazzle
Backes is on 4th line or looking like he'll be in the press box. Here were the practice lines yesterday.
Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Khulman
Johansson - Coyle - Heinen
Nordstrom - Acciari - Wagner |

I think within reason its possible. I agree they will score, but as you say limiting the damage. Thats what I would consider keeping then in check. |

Not so bold prediction :
Tavares is gonna be a beast. The guy is having a career year. He is living a childhood dream. And this is his first playoffs with his dream team. Barring an untimely injury, I think Tavares is going to give the Bruins fits.
