I watched both the games last week. I don't think the Canes match up well against them. They had a lot to play for and kinda just hung around. Once the playoffs start it's completely different, but I still see the Caps having their way with them.

I was so ready to consume all the tears of the UVA nerds in the DC area tonight. If I were the Auburn coach I woulda cut the kid who fouled on that last 3 on the spot. Off balance shot, you just gotta trust the guy is gonna miss and if he makes it tell him “good game”. Why you would jump into the shooter there is beyond me.

It looks like we got our wish and play the pushover Islanders.

As far as Shultz goes, expectations are for him to make these great outlet passes and lead the team out of the defensive zone on a regular basis. Everyone over rates this aspect of his game, I just don't see that in him. I see a player whose strength is joining the rush late with a good shot. He is also able to get pucks on net when they are already set up in the o-zone.
