So...when something goes awry you DON'T want him to stop and look to the heavens?

He might not play dat.

I ran it exactly once.

Sabres won the top spot.

I'm expecting 5 or 6 spot, too. 😂

- Powerslave

Only ran it 4 times, we got 1OA on the 2nd and 4th attempt, top 3 on the 3rd.

Chicago or NY will win the 1st spot. League wants them to get back into the playoffs ASAP
- pwasil7

Buffalo, NJ, Edmonton, Florida I'm not sure those are the teams the league wants to win

welcome to the party pal

ask him to be a man instead of a punk
or ask him to play a little d and people think you hate him

I would trade him for mcdavid though

It is insane. McDavid puts up over 100 on an equally bad team with a more burly Reinhart in Draisaitl and a non sniper version of Skinner in RNH and people have all the reasons for it.

Eichel leads his team to last place finishes and just above a .ppg and has a worse attitude than a 5 year old with pin-worms and diarrhea and "what did you expect on a team this bad?".

The tank teams had less talent and were just as bad.

I expected him to be on the main stats page on nhl.com in at least 1 category. I expected November's effeort and results in March and a finish around 10th in the East and 20th overall.

I got none of what I expected from Eichel.

Reinhart is a 20/40 guy, Skinner I expected 40 from, Dahlin is where he should be.

Mitts, Sheary, Okposo, Sobotka, Rodriguez, Girgensons, Larsson I expected much, much more from. Pominville should have been 20/20 but our moron coach couldnt figure out if he was a 1st liner or a 4th liner and gave him no PP time.

The entire defense corps disappointed sans Dahlin.

I expected a few more call-ups sooner and that is on our GM.

At the end of the day, these are NHL players. They did not perform and it is mostly on them. The locker room clearly has issues if they can't elevate each other to a higher level.

I agree.

Last night eichel completely whiffed on the one shot, looked up a the scoreboard and slowly skated back on defense.

I get that he's pissed, but bad body language for our captain.

He is still pretty young and definitely will grow up

he will be fine

they really made him captain a year or 2 too early

puts more pressure on him, and I get he wants to be the man but he still has a to learn a little bit more

Draisatil would put up a PPG on this team. I wouldn’t say he’s just a “burly Reinhart”. Skinner has 59 points even when scoring 38 goals. He is literally only good for burying Eichel feeds as his play making is average and that might even be putting nicely. Reinhart and Skinner are good hockey players but not at the level that other elite players have at their disposal. Eichel would have hit 90 if he played a full season and that’s even with having nothing to play for this past month. Imagine if we had an elite winger for him to play with ?

McDavid has a teammate who is top-5 in scoring. Almost every player ahead of Eichel in scoring has a teammate also in the top-25. Every player ahead of Eichel in scoring has at least one teammate in the top-50 in scoring.

Eichel has no teammates in the top-50 in scoring. He has only two teammates in the top-100 in scoring. Eichel also has played fewer games than all but one player ahead of him in scoring.

Eichel has had an impressive season. One can acknowledge that while still wanting more out of the player.

More then a ppg guy in his 4th year

Met expectations in mind.

There's still the feeling that he was only really on top of his game for a couple weeks, before the injury. That's a lot of production from a guy who looked liked he was forcing it most of the year.

The weight of this team was on his shoulders all season (again)

I would think with age, eichel will cope with the pressure

He was definitely gripping his stick pretty tight after the 10 game win streak. Mounting pressure on himself

He had a brutal stretch after the suspension.

He also left the game in the first period 3 times this year, so he basically had his 80 points in 73 games, which is 1.09 PPG which would tie him for 20th in the NHL in PPG and 8th among centers

I said he is playing at a level and having a season slightly above Derek Roy, not that he is slightly better than Derek Roy. You skipped Reading Comprehension 101 and it shows.

He is not having an impressive season. He is having a very good season where scoring in up noticeably and we have 5 players over 100 points, 10 over 90 and 40 players above a .ppg.

Jack Eichel is not a top-25 player in the NHL as of now.

- BeadyEyedDouche

So? That doesn't mean he's the 40th best, he's 24th in points per game. He's literally a top 25 player. Like literally literally, not like exploding eyeballs literally.

Also, suck it, Beady.

Also,

How about all those Cups the Kings won with Gretzky? They made the Final once with him and then missed the playoffs entirely the next 3 consecutive years.

It’s the Buffalo way. Reinhart and Skinner aren’t the problems it’s the franchise centre. I like Reinhart and Skinner, both are good players but why can’t they shoulder any blame ? Why are we ok with Reinhart being a 62 point RW ? I expected Reinhart to be our 1-2 punch down the middle with Jack. I think Reinhart has taken huge steps in his career and I’m not complaining but the way people on here rag about Eichel sometimes but not on anyone else hurts my head.

We will be a good team when Reinhart is our 4th most impactful forward and when Erod is our 10th/11th best forward not our 4th. I think we also need at least one top 4 defenseman and another depth defenseman as well on the backend and a goalie that can play worth a s###

That’s absolute bullpoop. I used to work at a grocery store. The dairy company takes back all the expired or leaking milk and gives the store credit. I literally drank at least one milkshake a day (or a liter of chocolate milk) every shift during high school. and sent back the empty container with all of the returns. Dairy Dude didn’t even ask or care about the returns.

If a customer brought in a bag of spoiled milk, here’s your change, no problem!

This is in Canada though. I would go back there and tell the manager to go (frank) himslef with an empty milkshake container if they did that to me. It literally costs the store 0 dollars. Maybe the milk company pays for it, but who the duck argues over $3?

- Da_Cashman

I've definitely seen expired dairy at stores here. Employees always act totally "shocked". People are dumb and never check labels though either.

Yep
It’s not like Doughty suddenly became a sh!tty defenseman

+/- will almost always be much more indicative of the TEAM than an individual player
