You guys sure like poopty music too. Slayer, Metallica, Motörhead. Ive been through so many hippy fests(mostly for the lsd) and the music is listenable but nothing compares to early thrash. Later bands like darkest hour and lamb of god do it good too. Every time I die might be one of the funniest bands to ever see. - Grinder47
My thing with metal is that I don’t like the way the finished product actually sounds. I respect the hell out of the arrangements and the musical talent it takes to do what they do at the tempo they do it in, but I just don’t enjoy actually listening to it. |

I always wore a white tee shirt to see gear, came out purple from all the poop they sprayed on you. That’s more of s production though. ETID is just 5 guys with instruments and raw energy. Always wanted to see leftover crack but they never leave the west coast and are banned in a lot of places. - Grinder47
I walked out messy from Evil Dead the musical. I hate musicals, but that was fun as hell. |

I like Slayer, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Trivium, and other poop too. It’s not like raggae is the only music I listen to. |

I always said poopty metal is the worse just because the music is loud to begin with. A lot of early and most recent Metallica though it as melodic as it gets. |

Metal means so many things now. I mentioned Metalica as metal to someone the other day and they were like, “are they really metal though? They’re more like hard rock.” |

Yeah guys who are really into metal have their genres and discriminate hard against other sub genres. They wage war over what’s metal and what’s not. |

I went to a show like 15 years ago. I don’t listen to their music or anything, but it was an insane show. - Rinosaur
Gwar is hilarious. Fishfück will always make me laugh. |

Yeah metallica is as close as I get to listening to metal, and I don’t even like them all that much, and have also been told by plenty of metal heads that they don’t qualify. |

Children of Bodom was good live. I went through a scandanavian metal phase in my mid 20’s, but not really my thing anymore. I still listen to In Flames occasionally.
I still love Volbeat |

I liked the first trivium album I heard then it seemed like they weredoing a black album imitation every time I heard them. Been rocking skeleton witch a lot recently. Never really got into bodom, sounds circusy to me. I like blue grass as my other main musical focus. Haha. |

I only listen to it at the gym or on my way to hockey if I don’t have any Spittin Chiclets podcasts to listen to. |

I used to go to Ozzfest every year and it would be funny to see guys arguing and making fun of others for what they listen to. |

Ride the Lightning is one of my favorite albums in all of music. I can listen to that front to back without skipping a song any day of the week. |

That’s honestly not too shocking. I feel like a lot of the same elements go into the arrangements of blue grass and metal, it’s just that the end product is starkly different. I enjoy blue grass a lot although I wouldn’t consider myself an actual fan cus I haven’t explored the genre/know artists beyond Iron Horse, which is just a coverband. |

There’s some really poopty metal nowadays that is untalented (frank)s chugging open palmuted tuneddown guitars. It sounds extreme but is rarely good and those fans like to think nothing melodic is metal. |

I dig bluegrass. Have you ever heard Old Man Malarkey? They’re a bluegrass punk band that used to tour on fat Wreckords. Fiddles and washboards and poop. I saw them with Dropkick like 5 years ago. (frank)ing awesome show live. They put Dropkicks performance to shame. |

Green sky bluegrass. Horseshoe handgrenades. Banjo player from horse shoe is also a musky fly fishing guide...which is just cool. |

I’ve been listening to a lot of New Orleans funk/jazz/jam bands lately. Flow Tribe is one of my favorite bands. They put on such an awesome show. |

I also dig some bluegrass from time to time.
I saw Dropkick in like 98 in some small club in Worcester, MA. They were a lot of fun. |
