I don't know if anyone got the hint from this blog, but does it appear that RW doesn't want Johnson in the lineup? I mean, does anyone else here really feel the same? Seems like we've never really gotten to know what everyone thinks on the subject.

I want CBJ to miss, but I agree with you, probably not happening. Wouldn't mind seeing them match up with Washington though. They could do some damage there.

I wanted CBJ to miss too. But I still think they can take a pound of flesh out of the Caps or Tampa.

I don't think wholesale changes are needed, but they need a legit 3rd line center and a better 2nd pair defenseman. If they can do that and get even average goaltending from Hart, they'll be fine. Hell, if they have league average goaltending this year, they'd have a playoff spot locked up by now.

You ever play against players that are annoying as (frank) to play against but aren’t actually good? Like that scrappy white guard that looks like he’s playing great d because he’s expending a lot of effort but really all he’s doing is fouling guys real hard when the blow past his unathletic ass? That team was really cooking at times this year. They are not far off at all IMO, especially with the emergence of Hart.

Ya know, for all the whacky trade proposals we threw out there this year, at the end of the day not only did JR really come through, but the Pens still have their 1st, Addison, Hallander and Bjorkvist.

Maybe nothing comes of those guys, but the fact he didn't have to give them up is pretty great.

The Islanders are going to play the games where two goals will be enough. The Pens have had trouble scoring for some time now. This series will come down to who wins the battle in front of the net. Anders Lee has been as good or better than Patric Hornqvist at this aspect of the game.
