Whoever is GMing that team now has their core but has to fill out the team with players that play hard and want to win.
Tankathon has 1NJ 2Van 3LA today. Good draw, especially for Vancouver: their core is looking pretty talented. Although Kakko is basically evening things up with Hughes, the last hurdle for Kakko: I'd like to see him at the World Championships for Finland and see how he does there. I hope the IIHF pulls both Hughes and Kakko along for the ride just to see how they play like they did during the Matthews/Laine year. Jack Hughes looks like the guy who's a step ahead of the play and though Kakko looks really talented, it would be really hard to pass on Hughes.
