It’s destiny.

Although I am really starting to jump all over that Byram train.

Thanks! I had a boss who called everything ‘fugazi’. Funny part is other then that was very professional and tightly buttoned down. If he got really upset he’d start sounding old school mafioso; but not a bit gangster when he was calm.

you watch Boomer and Gio in the morning? They use those terms sometimes. Love fugazi lol.

I made fun of Sakic because of his ongoing situation with Duchene and he's about to cash in big time. They got almost as much for Duchene as they did for Lindros... actually, no that's not even remotely true

I wonder where Duchene signs in July. I think the Devils will definitely show interest.

- archromat

idk what to make of Duchene. Part of me feels like he's not a guy I want with this group. The other part is the reality that he'd be one of our best players and add depth.. but he's not a top flight, or mmmaybe not even a top line player. He's only going to get worse with age. so I'm hesitant on big money/term.

I’d like to think the Devils would show interest, but with Hall and Nico extensions along with a few others I highly doubt ownership let’s Ray spend that kind of money.
- smellmyfinger

Listen, if they have an honest shot to sign him they had better, regardless the cost because there is plenty of room and Greene's contract is done after next year. I don't see them cutting ticket prices, so they better not go cheap. If Shero does not think he is a fit that is a completely different story.

This ownership has not shown any inclination to spend money whatsoever yet. The Vanderbeek spend to the cap days are gone. I think the exception to throwing money around is going to be an offer to Hall and a long term deal to Nico.

Look I know it feels good to have a legit chance at the top pick..however that is all it is: a chance. It is no guarantee and literally any team in the lottery can win. Remember we got nico with only an 8 percent chance

If finished where we are we will pick 6th at worst. We will have a chance at a high quality prospect. What happens after that is a wildcard.

I don't want them to waste money on dud free agents, but good ones sure. My point is they have cap space, they charge top dollar and offer us crap and say its growing pains. That is somewhat true in terms of growing pains, but if you have a chance to add a grade A free agent you better, or cut your prices.

How do we go from 3rd to 6th? I don’t really follow the draft details but say the #6 team is selected as the lottery winner, don’t we go from 3rd to 4th, #1 goes to #2, #2 goes to #3 and 6 goes to 1?

Preaching to the choir here. I gave up my season tix 4 or 5 years ago and only pick tix up off of Stubhub when people have them underpriced because they can’t get rid of them.

Everyone that misses the playoffs is in the lotto. They draw the first three picks via lotto. Theoretically they could pick three teams above us in the standings dropping us to 6th. Right now we can pick anywhere from 1-6.

Kings are two points back with a game in hand. If we manage to lose the rest of the season they might pass us.

I’m not sure the Kings are even going to pick up a loser point for the rest of the season.

Think I saw he has diabetes and something else

I wonder how that could impact his stock

Good thing for medical research and improvements

He does have diabetes. I know everyone is different but it didn’t seem to hinder Bobby Clarke and Max Domi seems to be doing fine as well.

got a cousin with diabetes and a lot of it is proper nutrition to make sure you don't get (frank)ed up. As far as I'm aware, the Devils has some type of dietary requirements for the players so I think they're all regulated on that kind of stuff. I don't think it should be much of a problem but it's a person by person issue.

Liked the Devils since the beginning of the Brodeur era. Blues are playing poorly. What happened to Schneider, not the goalie he was with the Canucks. I guess he was better backing up Luongo
