Botts is the epitome of patience. Keeping Nylander and Olofsson marinating as long as he can. Its not like Nylander was lightning up the AHL, he was a very streaky player. Nylander is even showing his streakiness in the 9 game sample size (3 games without a point, 3 game point streak, 3 games without a point).
