The 200’ players are dragging the kids kicking and screaming to a bottom 5 finish.
Marky is doing his best, but when you don’t score you loose (because he can’t nail down the SO)
Demko isn’t ready
Gaunce is still in the minors - 1970vintage
lol not shocking on all counts. |

I’d bet Virtanen is toast as well. Can’t see him back next year. Goldobin won’t be qualified. 100%

Wow, lot of movement in buttons list - CanuckDon
We are only beginning to discover Virtanen's power. If he joins Green and buys in they can rule the NHL together as father and son. |

I really don't have high hopes for JV at all - couldn't care less if he was on the team next year. Wouldn't trash him but if we could flip for something else, id be in. |

His numbers show progression albeit slowly.
Would love to see what he could do healthy over an 82 game schedule with complimentary line-mates...but that goes for pretty much every player on our team lol |

Virtanen doesn’t work and he doesn’t think. Sloppy changes, lack of compete, and overall indifferent play. Kid has got to go while he has any value |

This is an outlandish take. Markstrom is our starter not Demko. Demko clearly isn’t ready for this. Teves is getting resigned no matter what he does in two meaningless games - CanuckDon
Demko is 5 years away from being a starter |

The org needs a culling. Start with Virtanen, Goldilocks and the glass twins (Tanev and sutter) and go from there ![:)](https://hbcf.s3.amazonaws.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif) - CanuckDon

Not really next year will probably get 25 games the following year 35 games the following 45 or more and then two years adjusting being the top guy. Much like what Marky did.Go look how long it took Schneider it took about 6 years |

![](https://hbcf.s3.amazonaws.com/images/emoticons/lol.gif) he’s going to be a backup for not 1 or 2, but 5 years?! Where’s minivan and his book? |

He isn’t strong. For (frank)sakes, he can’t even handle a 4 hour flight without breaking down - CanuckDon
He’s looked pretty good, won 2/3 starts. There’s really not much legs to hating on Demko. He got injured. Who cares?! It happens. He’s played well. |

People think goalies come from the AHL and are ready to be the guy ![](https://hbcf.s3.amazonaws.com/images/emoticons/lol.gif) Corey Schneider took him 5 years to hit the 48 game mark. I consider Demko the same type goalie. |

He may never be a starter. There is a better chance that he isn’t a starter than being a starter in his career. Kid has a long way to go |

I don’t hate Demko, I just question his abilities. It’s ok to question vancouvers players and prospects |
