It's surprising to see how many people have warmed up to him. I remember last off season there was some rumours that we might sign him and it was a resounding NO - hard pass. It might be that we're use to Guddy's horribleness and therefore anyone is an improvement...
He's a smart defender - uses his positioning to his advantage due to lack of speed. Hits everything, stands up for his teammates - i would seriously not mind him being resigned. I wonder tho if his decent play is purely out of "i need a contract next year"?

It might be. But if you sign him to a one-year deal, he’ll need another next year as well

I definitely wouldn’t mind him as the 6/7.
