I have to disagree.

Sometimes, the AHL just isn't the best place for a specific player to develop. Everything I have read says Nylander hasn't been impressive in Rochester, for the most part.

I was banging Tage's drum at the start of the year, but he should have been sent down in January. He has regressed terribly this season. An AHL stint may have been good for him.

Agreed that you can’t give up on Tager. But I wish I’d seen more in-season development. He just sorta got worse.
It’s a long season, maybe he’ll put on some weight and come back next year wiser, fitter and more prepared.
But because he was gifted his spot this year, I hope he doesn’t feel entitled to it for next year.
