But he’s never been a Sabre.
I don’t get though, who wouldn’t take a Wilson type of player if we drafted one in the mid-first?
I’ll take Reinhart over Wilson as a # 2 pick 7 days a week. - sbroads24
Just as long as he doesn't get overpaid by 40%. |

You bag Flacco even though he’s a winner. So you agree and disagree by the sounds of it. Make up your mind. |

Connor Sheary won 2 cups once upon a time as well hanging off jock straps. Sheary scored 20+ playing with superstars like Tom Wilson does too. Tom Wilson is a good but overpaid complimentary piece. I agree we need physicality in our lineup but if we’re talking winners then I could name 8 guys on that Caps team I’d take before Wilson. |

Last year, tom wilson won the Stanley cup in his young prime of 23/24 years old. Played great in the cup drive.
Flacco won the superbowl 6 years ago and is 34 years old. Football years. Also, he was replaced last year by his championship team : by a rookie.
I'm sure you see the difference. |

Yea I see how well that worked out for them. Unless Lamar learns how to throw a football he doesn’t have a career in the league. The tape is out there on how to stop the running game. Chargers made him look atrocious in the playoffs and the Ravens were at home. |

With the not so new " lottery draft", there is no garauantee a team could pick #3 overall.
So infatically- NO
, - Boss34
“Emphatically” is what i think u meant
But anyways...
acquiring Montour could only be seen as a move that would make us better
Not a move that would help us “tank”

He’s worthy of a roster spot, but you don’t need to pay 2+ mil for guys like that if it came down to it.
Same with 22, 28, 20
The hope is Asplund, CJ etc make them irrelevant - sbroads24
Are ppl on here saying that we should pay E Rod, or any of those others u mentioned, over 2mil a year?
I sure hope not
Must have missed it |

Patriots go 9-7 at best next year. Book it. Bills win the division at 10-6. We host the Pats in the Wild Card. - BeadyEyedDouche

Well this is where we don't agree at all..
Again this team is under performing....BIG TIME You can certainly have your opinion on the matter. you nor I have any idea what this team is right now with a real coach behind the bench. - gordong
Who on our team is underperforming?
Sheary is who we were told by Pens fans-
a guy who can’t score unless he’s with elite talent
Are Mitts & Tage “underperforming” or do they just need more time to develop?
Okposo, Berglund, Sobatka, etc...
Underperforming? Or just not any good?
You’re right...
there’s no way to know of a coach like Torts (for example) would have this team in the playoffs
But i think it has a hell of a lot more to do with the guys ON THE ICE,
than the guy behind the bench |

The Walking Dead last night ? WOW. One of the best episodes ever. Best season in a LONG time - new showrunner has helped. Anyone who stopped watching ... go watch last night's episode. I think it's called "The Calm Before". |

I think we could all agree that an HOUR away from our hectic lives to sit down, relax, and enjoy a bit of entertainment on the TV - regardless of your taste in programs - is a nice thing. The show is infinitely more enjoyable to watch than 99% of Sabres games this year...there's no denying that. |

With how active JB wants our blue line to be, I expect us to try and land Gardiner this offseason.
He fits the Montour/Dahlin/Pilut type of D man and would be a huge get |

if you mean calendar year.... yes.. the sabres early on this season were actually fun to watch, they stayed in games and i never felt like the game was over till the horn at the end of the game. i am not really sure what the hell happened. |

we're 2 losses away from being 4th last. so that's fun. we'll leave it to Phail Housleague to get us there. it's hard to win hockey games though. |

You're right. However, I think the "winning streak" was an aberration. I don't even call it a winning streak - I call it a ten game luck streak. Could've lost like 8 of those very easily. |

i agree that they could have lost 8 of those games.. but just the way they played was different, they seemed to play with purpose and i felt like they were always in the games. |
