Gus looked like a talented ice hockey player today in my beer soaked eyes. Dahlstrom, Keith Avs Seabs are all not very good. God the Avs are not even good. They have Machinnon who is even more impressive in person. Avs playing without Landeskog and Rantanen too. Just not impressed by the Avs and yet they beat us no problem.

No, he wasn't. I was watching him bail out in the corner. Losing his stick and grabbing a guy leading to the eventual 5 on 3. I saw a guy who was roaming all over the ice causing break outs and leaving his partner alone. He was terrible. But he scored a goal. So he was great.

Im with you on that . I suppose there is some stat saying the early you pull goalie the better your chance is to score but I don't like it . One little mistake and your game is over.

It’s a do or die game for the Hawks and you’d hope Seabs could elevate his game up level but he cant. Saw nothing from 7, 2 or 88 today in the biggest game of the year.

Im with you on that . I suppose there is some stat saying the early you pull goalie the better your chance is to score but I don't like it . One little mistake and your game is over.

Establishing possession IN CONTROL of the puck in the zone is the most important part of the 6th attacker. Goals are scored in a matter of seconds all the time. There's no need to rush. Plus....from a players point of view, it's human nature to not rachet up the intensity until the final minute. Anybody that's ever played in that clock situation knows that to be true.
